  1. i would not call them dirty; they are a physical team that will push the limit, but not dirty. they play a tough style of ball.
  2. the jacket is back! how did things go for you at ccchs this past year? also, it's easy to "outcoach" people when you are an underdog with nothing to be lost!
  3. I may not be an expert on football in Cheatham County; however, I would not be so quick to run my mouth if my team were 2-28 over the last three years, with NO wins over any county teams in that time span. Big Country, what do you think?
  4. or he wasn't getting it done in the classroom
  5. Any news????? Process seems to be taking a while. They have been without a coach for about 3 months now.
  6. Get your head out of the clouds. Not many 5A schools in this state have four guys get full rides. If we lived in Texas, that may be the case! It's not that football gets the most attention, but most college football teams don't cut like other sports do. If those four guys were honest, I would be willing to bet that some, if not all, of them are having to pay their way in college for the opportunity to be part of the team. If they had four guys getting a full ride, they may have had a better record againt 1A competition? Don't worry about the next level; just play as many sports as you can as well as you can.
  7. Dontae is hot!!!!!!!! Somebody better scoop him up!
  8. what, or who, is s.c.? are you sure that they are not offering all of that stuff to you mr. cowboy?
  9. Don't misunderstand what I'm saying; this could be a great job for someone local looking for their first HC job, or someone from a small school. I just have to wonder about someone who would move in from out of state.
  10. If he is such a great 6A coach in Alabama, why in the world would he leave to take over at Northwest? If a good coach is leaving their state to come to Northwest, you have to wonder who is running them out of town. Northwest does not seem to be such a great job that they can attract great candidates from all over the South. The best fit may be someone local. Am I wrong?
  11. perry county is too small for guys to just focus on football. all of the good athletes need to play 2 or 3 sports, making all of the programs better. they just need to have spring practice as late in may as possible so as many guys as possible can practice. the spring coaches, however, must make sure the kids get their football lifts in.
  12. you are telling me that no big guys are part of the top twenty. could it be that the people that vote only know stats, and not football???
  13. i did not say anything about the program. cf must be doing a great job. calling out people that talk too much has nothing to do with what i think about the program or cf. what do i know about anything? except for all of the stuff thay you share willingly. big-mouths have a way of coming and going-mostly going. you may one day click yourself out of the cheatham loop with your thousands of posts.
  14. why is this thread still so popular anyway? they have had a coach for a while. shouldn't we talk about something else?
