  1. West TN took 2 out of the 3 titles this year. Oh and Has anyone outside of west TN won the AA title in the last 5 years? Let's see.... South Side, Lexington, Milan, Ripley and Covington. Last 5 champs in AA and Covington may have won it twice making it 6 in a row. But a previous writer was right, we can argue all day and everyone thinks their area is the best.
  2. minorleaguebaseball.com is probably the best. Baseballamerica.com also has coverage but not all of it is free. You can look round by round on both and they have video on some players.
  3. That would make sense then.
  4. I haven't seen the kids from Dyersburg or Union City but so far my vote goes to Miligan at Hardin County. He's probably a draft and follow this year. I think that's why he changed his decision to play football at Austin Peay. This kid has the build and swings from the left side of the plate. He has good mechanics and he can really the head through there. He's the best hitter I saw in west TN this season. As for DeBerry, he has potential to be a good college outfielder but he's still raw. I saw him take some bad routes at balls. He also doesn't have the arm Miligan does. DeBerry just needs some polishing up. I don't think he's been playing that long so we should see better things from him. Great kid too.
  5. That's big words saying he'll go # 1 overall! I don't know anything about the kid but still, to be the first player taken in the draft? From what school? What size is the kid? Position? Please tell me what the kid can do. I want to hear about him. That's big words saying he'll go # 1 overall! I don't know anything about the kid but still, to be the first player taken in the draft? 6. I haven't seen that kid. But the Gant kid at USJ can pitch a little bit. He topps out at 87-88. So he probably pitches at 85 or so consistently. If he progresses like he should, he should run it up there a bit by the time he is a senior.
  7. If he can run that consistently, he can fly. I'd have to see it myslef. Big difference in running it once and consistently running it. Still, if that's his best time , he has to be consistently a 6.5 guy. The college and pro scouts will like that.
  8. You will get two chances at a workout to run the 60 and they will pair you up with someone. Nothing to be concerned about. They time 60's in baseball becuase it is 60 yards from home to 2nd base. 40's are a football thing.
