The district baseball coaches are voting on players based on their season performance. Scouts are judging players on how they project to perform in the future.

HTV, Actually, USMA has two programs that are currently available for athletes to pursue professional careers. The WCAP is a possiblilty for athletes who participate in an Olympic sport. Schyler Williamson (2005 Detroit Tiger draftee) played with the Oneona Tigers last summer. Each academy is different. I can't recall his name, but the Naval Academy had a 2003 graduate who was with the Blue Jay organization. It's not the easiest route to go, but it is now possible.
