Depends which JC team shows up. If the Mo West victory team comes to play, look out. Our D knows how to take a stand inside the red zone. O is coming around. Kicking game is solid with Gibson back there. I think (hope) this will be the year to get back on top. Lets see how this weeks practice goes. Win or lose this game will be closer than in the past.

For that to happen they better play like they played Mo West! Only had one fumble last night which was great condsidering the weather.

We learned how to kick a ball out the back of the end zone on a bad punt snap. Smart play. 2 is better than six anyday.

The call by the "unbiased" ref in double OT to move the ball for Campbell Co to the one yard line gave them the win. Period. Say what you want but thats what happened. And everybody knows it. I wouldn't be proud of a victory like that. Seems like every personal foul or unsportsman like was against JC. Now do you really believe that CC was playing like a bunch of Boys Scouts???

Jeff Co can win this game no doubt. They just have to want it bad enough. Hopefully they will get fired up and pis'd off after last weeks game with Campbell Co. If Brooks and McFall can both have good games with the line blocking like we know they can then this team can go into the playoffs. Defense did has done their job every game even though the score doesn't always reflect it. Hold your head up boys. Last weeks game is over and done with. Lets make it a clean sweep of the Morristown teams.

I wonder.... was it the same ref each time??? I'd take the tape to the TSSAA if if can be proven they didn't cross the goal line by a yard. No matter who won or lost. If thats true he doesn't need to ref anymore. Talking to a CC alumni last night and he said its a wonder there wasn't a brall. That CC likes to trash talk on the field and end up in a fight. JCs got to learn to keep their cool. And don't let'em sucker ya into a penalty. Once that gets around the other teams will try it too. #5 did look pretty shocked about the goal line penality, maybe he had a reason to be. The deal with McFall, yeah that was BS. Ref should have called it even if both were yanked. Wonder why he didn't? Was that #3 or 4 that was on top of him. I may be wrong but if so, that was one their QBs. Either way, I've always pulled for CC in their other games, but never again.

Yea... not mentioning any names one had 2 and 1 had 1. The one on the one yd line hurt. Maybe shoulda tried a QB sneak or given to the FB. Not sure what the play was supposed to be. Getting plays in was not a problem. Great clock managment throughout and at the end of the regular playing period.

Hard fought game. FB Brooks #46 scored 2 TDs one on a 66yd and 12yd. QB Long #10 scored 1 TD. A lot of trash talking, one player ejected for slapping to the head. Couple of Unsportsman like. One in OT with CC on our 1yd line. They punched it in for the win 2 plays later. Defnse did not play like last week. No intensity. We also had 3 fumbles, one on their 1yd line. Its not the end of the world. They never gave up, just too many penalties for stupid stuff. Hopefully some things will be learned from this game.

Don't know. But these guys should have at least been nominated. I'd say someone from Bearden or Farragut or Catholic or one of the west knox schools got it. Point is if your not from there your not recognized no matter what your stats are.

Can anyone tell me why McFall from Jefferson County who had 293 yds of offense and Johnathan Yeary who had 22+ tackles both against Moristown West were not nominated last week for players of the week for the Knoxville area Prep Extrra Blitz?

Been listening to the replay on WJFC. Buster really gets fired up in the booth. You can hear him over the radio announcers. Wish WJFC would turn the power up some.
