nike zoom air legends are pretty good...i got them this season and they have worked out really well so far. only bad part is a got a blister on my left big toe but other than that they are extremely comfortable and have great touch and feel

a student from marshall county placed a very lewd sign on the front of the gchs gym. That student has been found out by the marshall county administration.I don't know what he was thinking, because it has only made the bobcats angry. I think a suitable punishment would be to MAKE this individual dress out and play, and tell the bobcats who he is.
i hate to tell you this but there was more than one student who hung the banner...even if he did dress out, he is a pretty big guy...around 6'5" or so and close to 250....i am sure he could handle himself

if the coach is in 3a in middle tn then the only undefeated team is station camp and the only teams with one loss are David Lipscomb and giles
-
Don'ta Hightower from marshall county can lay a hit on you if he gets the chance. he is 6'4" 225 cleans over 300 squats over 500 and benches close to 300 (his long arms hurt him on bench). it is too bad he hasn't had a better season
-
i would be very interested to know who that coach is, as well. you could atleast give a few more hints...like the class. there are a lot of successful coaches in the midstate

i am pretty sure that the tigers are gonna win this one, even though the GC team is extremely good this year. the boys on the field know how important this game is, not only for their season but to their seniors who have beaten GC every year. Coach J doesn't realize that this game isn't just for his season it is for all of MCHS. If he loses this game he will lose the rest of his already dwindling fan support.

the game was pretty much what i expected...a lipscomb victory with a few tiger points scattered throughout. i think if the tiger defense would get it through their heads to WRAP UP! they could have had a pretty good chance at beating the mustangs. final scor- 56-20

well the posters may say "the year of the tiger" the season screams "WJ's last season!"
the tigers should win this game...the key word there is should. they should have beaten page, sycamore, greenbrier, and cheatham county but they failed...miserably in 2 cases. i will go with the tigers even though my gut is telling me not to. tigers by 7

Any truth to the story I heard today about problems involving an assistant coach and improper conduct? If it's true, I hate it for your school, community and team. I would like to think its a trumped-up accusation. Marshall County and Crockett County may have a history on the Coach T forums, but I would hate to see anything like this happen,
yes...the story is true and sad. he was the o-line coach but the loss of the coach didn't seem to affect the o-line very much. congrats to the cubs!
-
i don't understand at all....this team has some of the best talent that marshall county has seen in a few years but is a 2-5 team!!!! what is going on with them? i have nothing against WJ but his play calling is a bit sketcy...like the reverse on a 3rd and 14! i guess we will just have to call this a "rebuilding" year and look towards the future!
-
The loss of Gower won't affect the Tigers very much because they are used to playing without him. WJ will have to put Morris in at qb and leave o'neal out wide to give his soph. qb some options. i would expect to see hightower and braden a lot during this game. MC better hope CC can't defend the run.
-
Gower did rebreak his collar bone at practice yesterday. the coaches will probably leave o'neal out wide and let morris take the reigns again. the one question i have for these coaches is...why are you allowing gower to get hit in practice? it just doesn't make any sense!
-
leave the coaching situation alone in Marshall County...these boys have been through enough this year.
-
Hightower is fine, o'neal is fine, but gower isn't who he used to be. the accuracy, timing, and presence aren't there anymore. hopefully he will turn it around for the second half of the season!
-
Marshall county doesn't really have a unique way of coming out but our run thrus are possibly some of the best in the state, even though the team isn't. they are always HUGE and always extremely well crafted
-
definately giles county...they are tied for first in the region with David Lipscomb. they are 4-0
-
Does Marshall County even know that it is football they are playing on Friday night? if they play the way they have been then this could be the "year of the tiger" with a 2-8 record. i will put some faith in my boys, though, and say that they will pull out the victory...22-14. they need this win...if they lose they still have a chance by beating mont. central and Giles...even though Giles has an awesome team this year! Good luck to all teams in Region 5...but moreso to the tigers!!!!
-
i left in the 3rd and i have only one word to define this game....mauling! the tigers looked pitiful on defense and even worse on offense. 41 points in the FIRST half...i mean come on! we need to fix this "staff" infection!
-
the tigers had better step it up this weekend or a school of 800 will be completely let down...no actually just the few students who go out and support the tigers every friday night. i am ready for a win and ready to see 800 students come sit in the stands and cheer like they do in the pep rallies! let's here it for a tiger victory!!!!

What did I say that makes you believe I have no clue about football?
Didnt we kill Clarksville on the road last year? What makes you think we cant do the same at home?
Have you lost confidence in the Tiger so early in the season?
But you cant respond to my questions since you said all my future post will be disregarded and laughed at!
Sure glad you're not a coach!
actually the game last year came down to the wire and it was definately not a "killing" as you put it. Marshall county will have to play all FOUR quarters, thats right there are FOUR quarters Tigers! i haven't lost faith in the team, yet, i mean they are 2-1 in the region which isn't terrible. you have to remember that MC beat Clarksville on THEIR homecoming last year and will be seeking revenge. if the tiger defense isn't on the field the ENTIRE game they have a good chance to win it. good luck! i am goin with Big Country on this one 29-28 tigers!
-
thank you mctigers...the student support this year has been greater than ever and if our older fans could get involved it would really help out the team. spirits are low and the ship is sinking. coach j's saying for this year is "believe" and while the team is believing it appears that the coaching staff has abandoned all hope. we have to remember that this isn't the end of the season...we are still 2-1 in the region and still have the oppurtunity for a playoff position. GOOD LUCK DURING HOMECOMING NEXT WEEK BOYS!!!!!!!!!!
-
Marshall county will NOT lose this game! they may have lost big to greenbrier but they will come out ready to play this week! the school has been hyped and ready for a big tiger win and i am predicting the tigers to win this one! page is too young and inexpirenced to win this game but they have a bright future! good luck to both teams!!!! mc 33-14 page
-
alright....it is time for week 4 and what a week 4 it is! this game is always a very physical match up. now i haven't heard much about greenbrier this year but i know how they play so i am expecting a very good game. i am gonna go with marshall county on this one. they are coming off of a good win against creek wood and if the defense holds up, the offense will get going. MC 27-14 GB

Ok...I'll be the one to stick up for the band. They're very dedicated and are at every game just like the football players and cheerleaders. Their job is also to get the crowd going. As far as playing during plays...it is against the rules and any band who does it is the exception to the rest. And in case you didn't notice their are almost as many Band Parents at football games as their are player parents. Everyone shows support for their school...just in different ways. So what's the problem. If your band isn't very good however, I feel for you. But you should still be supportive. PS- More band students will get scholarships to play in the band than athletes will get to play football in college. We should support the school and its students as a whole...not just the players on the field.
However, I agree with a lot of the other annoying factors listed. Just thought someone should take up for the bands.
the band annoys me...especially since there are only 30 people in the entire band...including "color gaurd"

personally i prefer a 4-3-3 without a flat back 4...maybe that is just because our defensive players are the slowest on the team...that could be why people score a lot on us. even a 3-4-3 can be effective if you have strong midfielders who aren't afraid to challenge forwards or other midfielders while the ball is in the air or on the ground
