Great game tonight at Haywood. Ss big men got in foul trouble early and Haywood's Jarrett was scoring at will Haywood had a 10 point lead at half .2nd half Crews took the game over for Ss getting steals and setting up his bigs for easy finishes. Southside wins by 6 74-68.. Looking forward to seeing them play again in Jackson right b4 Christmas

This will be my first time getting to watch both of these teams this year very interested to see what both teams have

How many times did TCA get inside the 20 on trez ? Only 3 times that I remember 1 on the 1st TD 1 more on the pick 6 then one time in 4th.. I could be wrong and this is by no means a knock on TCA y'all had a great year and surprised a lot of people across the state. Goldsmith deserved mr football guy is stud. I would hate to have to take on him or Richardson one on one in the open field.

Goldsmith is a stud but not better than Richardson I think him not winning might be bad for MC

1st quarter they moved it scored then threw a pick 6 and then didnt really move it much more until the 4th with trez subs in. It was a reason score was 44-6 at half

upsets do happen and i think MC could have a chance to win it late if Trez turns it over 4-6 times and MC uses there agressive defense against them with screens and counters. I also think MC can throw down the field vs Trez if there O-line gives them time to throw. I do know that MC will not get many yards up the middle or with sweeps Trez is to big and fast

That weak Enworth team beat CPA by 10 who is in the 3a championship and Cpa beat both teams thats in the 4a championship game. Do you think MC could go to Ensworth and beat them??

After watching all the film i could find on MC which wasn't a whole lot im sticking to my predication of Trez 52 MC 14 Only way i see MC being able to have a chance is if Trez has about 4-7 turnovers. Trez is bigger and faster than MC and there coach is no slouch.

Marion could pull the upset but it's highly unlikely. Only way they stop #5 is if he gets injuried or misses the bus

Back on the topic of the game Trezevent defense is very aggressive, I could see Marion Getting some big plays on screens and misdirection type plays. TCA had 3-4 screen plays go for 10+ yards. Also can Marion throw the ball, weakest part of there defense is there secondary. On offense it's no secret they are gonna line up in the I and just pound it with Richardson. The only question is can you stop Richardson before he gets to the 2nd level if not its gonna be a long long day for MC. They also have a very good backup running back who I think would start on most 2a teams

I'm not a Trezevent fan just giving my opinion on the game. I think Trezevent would fair well in 3a 4a this year as well. They did go beat Ensworth in Nashville this year so they can no doubt compete with some of the best teams in the state
