  1. Adamsville will come and play hardnosed football.  This could be one of those upset type of nights.  Adamsville can run and throw so pick your poison.  Trying to look at common opponents it looks like if Adamsville does not turn the ball over they should be in good shape.  If Richland is 1 dimensional it could be a long night.  Teams that hurt Adamsville are the ones that do both equally well.  I look for this one to be high scoring and could come down to whoever has the ball last

Not saying anything negative about the QB, but the one you have to game plan for is the back. Really good vision, shifty in the hole, and if he gets even, he's leaving. We've got some good speed on the back end (I don't remember who we had out, but all of our secondary can run), and nobody could keep up when he had daylight. Limit his big plays and I think LC wins, but if you sell out too much to contain him, the QB can do the same damage through the air.

Qb is growing up every single week.  Once he gets there he will be hard to handle.  Combine that with the running back and we will be a handful.  Still got questions on the o-line and d-line though they are getting better every week too

Final score 36-35. For those who bought a ticket to this game, you need to donate more money because you got way more than your monies worth tonight. Game was tied and then Adamsville pulled out to a 16 point lead. TCA was gased and dead in the water when they found new life. TCA started cutting into the lead. It became a one point game 36-35. TCA went for 2. Lions threw a pass to the corner of the end zone . WR catches the ball with one hand one each side of the ball as it hit the ground. Official ruled incomplete though. Even if replay were available to refs, there probably was not enough to over turn if rules allowed. It was so close and I had benefit of watching replay several times during broadcast. It was just so close and could have gone either way. After Lions closed to within 1, they tried a second onside kick but The Ville recovered. They marched downfield and TCA picked off a pass in the end zone. TCA got the ball at the 20 with just over a minute remaining. Lions roared and started marching down the field running "Big Ben". TCA moved the ball 40 yards in under a minute and had ball on Adamsville 40 with 2 seconds remaining. TCA kicker has kicked 55 yards in practice. It would have been a school record had we attempted the 57 yard er. We opted for the hail Mary because our long snapper, #3, shredded his knee early in the game and was unavailable to snap the ball for the attempt. The TCA last ditch pass fell short and the Cardinals hold on to win another epic battle with TCA.

Unofficial stats show AJ Finley had over 160 yards rushing for Adamsville.  Kid was a beast.  TCA qb Butler throws for around 350 yards and 2 players over 100 yards each recieving. Freshman rb  Thompkins rushed for over 140 yards and catche's passes for almost 110 yards for 250 total offense. Waller with 10 catches for around 150.

There simply could not have been a more exciting game anywhere in the state then there was at TCA on Friday.  I am honored I got to help call the game on the video stream. Very few games will ever match what I got to broadcast tonight. Both teams played hard.  I am sadly afraid that the knee injury suffered by TCA player #3 is very serious and he is most likely done for the year

Hope sunrise brings better news for #3.  Prayers for a speedy recovery.  Great battle by both teams.

How has your team been looking man? Hope you’re doing well brother.

Been a good offseason.  Kids have worked hard and we are stronger and faster than we have been last couple years.  We do return all but 1 lineman and we have a giod set of skill players but we will see how it works out

Where's the humor in that? Most teams have a featured back...some have two who split carries relatively evenly, but it's rare to have more than that with significant carries and yardage. Nobody said that they were great, but don't kid yourself that keeping fresh legs against Adamsville is a bonus. Down year or not, the 'Cards will get off that bus thinking that they're going to get back on it with a win in Chapel Hill, and will not believe otherwise until the game's over.

Until the game is completely decided we will battle with the mindset that we are going to win.   Lets get after it boys time to strap it up and get to work

  6. We barely have enough healthy players to line up.  We will still battle to the end.  If we can create some turnovers we have a chance.  Our young freshmen are starting to figure things out.  Should be a good game.  Depth could very well be an issue.  But hey. We coming to go to War.  Final 32 with next goal final 16.  Lets strap it up and see what happens

I’m going to be that guy so y’all don’t jump all over me with this question! But what I seen on film it looks like Adamsville has the speed and the size to be way more competitive than they have been this year. So my question is what’s the real problem going on down there. Just a question from an outside guy looking in….

The biggest problem is experience.  Due to injuries most of these guys are getting their 1st taste of action.  They are in position to make plays then dont.  For example we dropped 3 or 4 sure interceptions against Riverside that they continued the drive and scored on.

  8. Adamsville finishes out its season in 2 weeks when Hickman County comes to town.  Adamsville needs a win to get in the playoffs.  Injuries have plagued us all year but the kids are gaining valuable experience.  Adamsville will have to play a solid defensive game and hope the offense can get on track and score.  Which group shows up is yet to be determined.
