I think Coach Hester could have done alot better with these seniors....when they started as Freshman. The players not only liked him but respected him immensely.

Its hard to put your confidence in a coach that doesn't put confidence in his players.

I think the players have had more than enough with this coach. Rumor has it.......half of them are quitting come Monday.

Yet another reason to fire this SO CALLED coach. Siegel SHOULD have been a contender THIS year, but Watson made sure that didn't happen. It Nolan can't see what this coach is doing for this team that he is a bigger idiot than Watson.

I noticed this last night too. The boys on the sidelines that usually are doing everything to pump up the team didn't even try. The crowd, 90% of them just sat there. It was a horrible game last night from all aspects.

I agree with this. Our receivers couldn't catch a ball if it was handed to them. Plus special teams....wasn't all they should have been last night either.

Ok, maybe Siegel is the only one who thought it would be them. Right now, I am hoping Oakland takes it all the way! GO PATS!!!

ACTUALLY, I NEVER said #6. There are others on the team that has quit and are back.There are also players that quit last year that came back to play over players that stuck it out. Which is wrong. YOU quit, you start from the bottom.

Well, I disagree, I don't care how good you are. IF you quit.....you shouldn't start. No wonder there are so many spoiled players in the NFL.

I don't see him losing his job. I really don't. Not in the middle of a the season. Not that he shouldn't. Now whether he is back next year, well that will remain to be seen. But if there are any up and coming players that have a chance to make it in football and are zoned for Siegel....two words .....ZONE EXEMPTION. Really??? I heard from Oakland he was soft.

Really, you think it is wise of a coach to put in players that have quit on him, versus players that has stuck through with him for years. Sounds like politics to me.

They can beat Mt. Juliet, but then again they could have beat Riverdale, Springfield and Oakland. Even if they do beat Mt. Juliet.....there is no way they will pull of a playoff run. The only region game I see them beating is Blackman. Sorry Stars, but it looks like your coach threw away your playoff chances yet another year. Maybe next year the underclassman players will have a chance, seeing I don't see how Nolan can justify keeping Watson after this year. As far as the graduating senior class, I really think someone owes them an apology.

Oakland has heart, I look for them to be the upset of the year. Riverdale will go to the playoffs along with Smyrna. I feel Oakland will pull it off too. Not for sure about the 4th one. I use to say it would be Siegel, but not anymore. So I guess I am saying: Smyrna Riverdale Oakland ???????????

I didn't hear one person single out any player. I did hear them single out the coach, which I can"t blame them for. A few thought the O-line could have done better.....and if they couldn't do the job then put some of them players on the side line a chance. Obiviously our O-line hasn't gotten the job done since the 3rd quarter at the Riverdale game, so why not give some kids a chance that are chomping at the bit. GOD knows it couldn't have been worse. Siegel Football is all about politics. Who's daddy can give more? As long as POLITICS rule their school.....then their football team will never have a chance. What happened to Players to watch? I watched them......I didn't see anything that impressed me. Its a shame some of these kids have wasted 4 years at school under a coach that hasn't given them the opportunity to shine. If more parents would stand their ground instead of talking about him behind HIS back maybe something could be done. But these parents are too scared about what will happen to their child. Well that is just teaching their kids NOT to stand up for what they believe, just to take it because it might cause trouble. The parents are just as much to blame as the Coach. If you want him fired, then do something about it. Stop sitting around and complaining about it (on the bus from Springfield) DO SOMETHING.

That wouldn't be me. I've said from the first season, he wasn't much of a coach and he keeps proving that year after year after years. Its a shame these seniors have wasted their entire football under a coach that only has two plays in his play book.
