Westview and Union City will co-host a high school softball tournament in Martin, TN on April 13-14,2018. We currently have 12 teams. I'm curious if this ever happens in boys' basketball? Does it or is this just an issue on the girls side?

Games were played. End of drama. Westview was not trying to avoid games. Can we move on to the Region? All 4 13AA teams have tough tests ahead.

TSSAA is taking the easiest way out to avoid conflict.

This was a great game but unfortunately we came out on the loosing end. South side played with class and I was very impressed with their attitudes and the way they carried themselves. I wish them the best of luck. I also want to compliment the westview squad. Couldn't ask for anything more. Great group of guys to be around. Hope all that came to the game saw what was really going on and that was 2 teams battling for 36 minutes!! Both teams played their butts off and are great examples of what west tennessee has to offer.

There is a old saying in the world of softball. Good players can hide a bad coach. Poor players Cain't Sorry, I really don't know the circumstances surrounding this post but I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. Good players are the only thing that make a good coach...I'm the Head Coach at Martin Westview and I can tell you that I have been fortunate in my years as the softball coach that we have been blessed with talent and great work ethic. A coach of a team of nonatheletes will still get beat in the game of softball no matter how great the coach is. I would like to think your post was not negative but I'm sure it was........Get a life and rip someone besides the coach.... Sorry if I offended you but you did the same thing so I'm sure you can take it!!!!!!!!
