it was a good victory for the Hampton bull dogs but i seen the coachT and the local news WJHL had the score wrong already they say it was 54-14 when the last time i seen it when the clock ran out it ,it was47-20?????

anyways back to WGHS coaching ........... who knows who it will be? I heard Principal Bible has been rubbing elbows with alumni football coach Drew Petitt..........myself i know nothing of this guy maybe he will do a good job maybe not????? even though i would like to see Greenlee get it,but who cares what i think......lol im just a parent of one of the players........

yes Cosby does play hard ball and they are a good team but the one shot that stuck in my mind was the body slam laid onto one of WGHS players that is what roused him up after the game..............and I will say for the coaching staff at Cosby one of the coaches that were in the stands came onto WGHS sidelines during the game and gave my son a pat on the back and told him he was doing a good job at QB, I myself thought that was pretty cool considering all the ruckus at our field the night varsiety played

IMO i just hope for teams sake that whoever gets the job that they(whoever) have good skills with teaching kids how to be winners in football at a high school level and that the students,parents, and staff be supportive of the program and hope to start having better seasons with success as a TEAM hopefully they will get the ball rolling soon though i know my kid is chomping at the bit wanting to have a little insight and get ready for the next season....lol

nope hadnt forgotten J. Early im just hoping that he comes back next year I honestly felt he was doing a fine job with the kids he was fair to them and he didnt pick on any one certain kid....just all around good guy.

i really look for this to happen,nothing suprises me at this point but if they do that why go through all of this noise?????

really if ya knew what they were doing is weight training up thru the summer and then took the TSSAA mandated 2 weeks off during the summer then they didnt really start what your calling practice until it was legal by TSSAA standards i was there! whoa Oct.31st are we still talking about football?????????

I will have to say one thing for Barry he did put alot of hours into the football program and anything that went on at the field and the money isnt alot at all resign or be fired that isnt right???that would be like firing a principal if a kid failed science........

sounds to me that your fishing for info. but IMO i think they should choose from inside the school so that narrows it down i wouldnt mind if coach Greenlee got it he has a good relationship with the better half of the kids.........IMO

I think it needs to be somebody within the school that has a good relationship with the kids that wants to improve the program and get back where it is supposed to be and be competitive

whoever it is we need to know who it is gonna be and they need to get the workouts started up soon

Bottom line is the Coach had to work with the cards that were dealt and did the best that he could do..........now on the other hand if they were some kids that really loved football and wasnt scared to come out and play ball just because they didnt like Coach Carter or what ever reason a kid can think of... maybe we couldve atleast been competitive this year.... so maybe next year we can have a competitive team and really suprise some ppl. that would be nice I am hoping for a new team next year that will be more competitve with the other schools around here, 1 thing about it though isnt noone can say the boys that finished out the season are quitters....and i wish the new coach who ever it is the best of luck Go Buffs!

1.)couldnt agree with you more on this one 2.)on this one it doesnt have to a science, we all know why kids that can play wont play even though i dont find it as a good reason 3.)i agree we got a good track use it..... 4.)i agree with this one to an extent but not whole heartely, I think if we atleast work on plays in shorts and helmet thru the summer it should be like 2nd nature to them when it counts instead of changing it every week and expecting them to ALL know it by Friday night 5.)practice should be a learning experience not only for the players but for the coaches as well as to what each indavidual player is capable of some may have hidden talents and made to play a position that isnt what they are good at. 6.)more coaches would be nice and we would probably have some more but.....if they feel that thier input is not wanted or appreciated ....or used they figure why even try it when they get thier wings clipped from the get go? 7.)i agree , myself im in for the ride good or bad , but i hope next year is alot better....lol 8.)this oughtta be a feasable idea here but i have noticed thru last season that we were out sized and out powered last season this where we need to fall back on #'s 1 and 3 9.)i totally agree with this we had a few this year but it seemed when the JV team done pretty decent the coaching staff decided to stop it like at the Hampton JV game granted they beat us but did ya realize at that time of the year the JV team almost scored what Varsiety did all year???we were 12 points shy wouldve been tied up if 2 TD wouldnt have been called back one from #12 James and 1 from #14 McAmis..........................anyways more JV games would be a good thing maybe not everyweek but atleast every other just my insight on your comments there Coach and i hope for a better season next year Go Buffs

i dunno ya hear ppl say differant things all season?mainly because ppl have problems one thing or another but to think of it i heard differant things last year as well im just looking forward to next year no matter who coaches...... Go Buffs!!

well put wgplayer21 just put the players noses to the grind stone and start working for next year and not get down over who coach's and who doesnt do it because we have talent on the field and for the love of the game and pride!

that wasnt stupid it was being skeptic of the 2 teams I think it depends on the players if they have their game faces on or not and 2nd off that was pretty stupid to ask if i go to WGHS and if i am a player.....lol if you know who i am? I dont not play football at WGHS and never went to school there so you apparently dont know who i am do you? anyways i say to SGHS and WGHS have a safe and good game Go Buffs!!!!!!!!

I have seen both teams play and I think NGHS will take this one in a tight game unless it is at CDHS with the same refs that were there when WGHS played them.........lol
