I heard on tv last night Bearden was playing in a postseason game @ Grace next Saturday.Who are they playing? Thanks!!

Cak is 4 and 6.Should be 8 and 2.They kicked the $not out of some teams with winning records so they deserve to go.They could have watered down their schedule and had a winning record like Scott

And I often hear TSSAA is all about $$$$$.So why don't let get rid of the stupid byes and have everyone play in Round 1??? More $$$$$$ TSSAA.

Thank You.I am a fan of many teams but have a soft spot for Kings.You could have scored 70 or 80 but Kings hung tough.They deserve the playoffs.There are 3 teams with below .500 records who got in and not Kings.Garbage.Win State Spartans!!

Kings Academy is 5 and 4.They deserve to go to the playoffs(why only 12 of 20 teams go to the playoffs??? 16 should).They are improving.Webb will DESTROY them tomorrow night.It will not be pretty.It will be sad to see.

Congrats to the Alcoa Tornadoes!!!! One of the best players @ Seymour High School has "moved" to Alcoa just in time to be eligible to play a full season next year.Congrats to Alcoa on this coup.But I do love hearing all you complain about how Grace,Catholic and CAK cheat.They need recruiting tips from you!!!! Here is a secret tip.Check out Heritage Middle QB Zack Nelson who is a 3 sport athlete!!! As well as his other teammates. He and his Mustangs set a school record and are looking good.Also look at Chance Collins @ Seymour Middle.You can give his daddy the head meat job at the Alcoa Kroger store and use that as his mailing address!!! Best get em before Maryville does cuz Heritage,Seymour or Sevier.Co won't get them.

should be a runaway after you get the travel rust out of you.it is nice they stepped up to play you.looking at their schedule they have lost to some pretty good teams.I think those teams are more power attack teams.I don't think they have seen speed like Fultons.Might be a better game than I think but I pick Fulton 55 Christian County 20

I might tease Alcoa about them complaining about holding calls but worried about safety? Never had trouble at Fulton or Alcoa in 25 years.Great fans who like to jaw in fun but are harmless.They are knowledgeable about football.darn good hot dogs and burgers from the Alcoa BBQ grill.The only time I seen trouble is when Kingston fans got overly mouthy with Alcoa police and fans(just a few,most Kingston fans are good).The police were very nice and let them go home when they needed to be locked up.Nice area.Worth the trip from Nashville.Come on down.

I'm trying to find some kind of reason for all the Alcoa chest-thumping, but I can't find one, not one Aloca player being recruited by any college from the 2014-2017 classes on either rivals or "247sports.com".  If I've missed it, please point me that way.

 

You would think if you had the power to beat Scott Co., that you would have at least ONE player being recruited by some college some where.

lol.Awesome post.I was proud of Alcoa last week.They only complained 3 times about holding.The 2 CAK Touchdowns were holding as well as the play that led to the Field Goal.

I know this is 3A but I think it is stupid 12 of 20 teams in Private Class A go to the playoffs.Make it 16.And put 32 teams in the playoffs in Class 1a and 2a.Dumb to have 24

Don't let Alcoa get you going.There isn't a game they ever lost where the refs were to blame.Even in games they won where the team they beat had Large Jerseys before and Double XX after the game they still cry

I understand there are many Athletes on the baseball team who choose or are encouraged not to play football.They would aid the football team big time.Wait til girls basketball season.A star has dedicated herself to volleyball.I am sure she will change her mind once the hoops season starts and not long after regain her spot starting on the basketball team.Displacing one of the ladies who did dedicate herself to basketball.I am sure that will be good for team harmony

That really sucks.I heard though if they go 4 and 6 or 5 and 5 they will play CAK in a bowl game at Grace.There are 20 teams in Private A.16 should get in not 12.Just like 32 teams should get in in Classes 1A and 2A. Garbage TSSAA.

Tough loss vs Union.Co this past week.Kings is 3 and 4 and most likely won't beat Webb.They play Mt.Juliet Christian and Cosby which are winnable games.If they beat those 2 and lose to Webb that would put them at 5 and 5(2 and 3 in region).Can they get in? If they beat MJCA and lose to Cosby and go 4 and 6(2 and 3 region) can they still get in? Thanks!!! AC

When you are playing a sport(say volleyball) then you can't practice for another sport(say basketball) until the season you are currently playing is complete

I like Mr.Householder too.However I think what you say is true.I understand years ago when they were fine tuning the districts that Seymour was going into the Fulton/Austin East region.Gary begged a friend of his @ TSSAA not to do it and what do you know.It was done.So those 8 and 2,9 and 1 and 10 and 0 years would have turned into 5 and 5 years if that

What is going on over @ Seymour? A once proud program has been in a slump for awhile.The coaches are very nice guys and I'd like to see them do well.They were a big fish in a small pond before moving up.The school has gotten bigger but the amount of kids going out for football has dropped off.Many aren't dedicated to lifting weights I understand.There are a lot of Big kids in the stands bashing their football team which really makes me mad.Get off the cell phone,get off facebook and experience what to me was a treat.Playing High School Football.I wonder if Seymour will ever get it going again.I know the same problems have hit Portland also

Lancaster is a pretty good team.Too bad they can't make the TSSAA State Playoffs.They have come a long way.Alcoa better not be looking ahead to CAK.The Knights Defense may hurt them as well as numbers.Matthew Williams is their QB.Their schedule is not as weak as people think.Matt after 5 games has completed 103 passes in 141 attempts for 2,027 yards already!!! His #1 target is Jared Beard.Jared has 48 Receptions for 1,295 yards already!! One of his other weapons is Hayden Mckee.He has 27 receptions for 425 yards.Not too bad.They are averaging 52(51.6) points per game!!!  Their Defense is giving up 31 points per game(31.4).They haven't seen a team like Alcoa but anything can happen.
