Any word on who Central will hire?

NFHS, NCAA, and NBA rule is that a player cannot get a shot off with 0.3 seconds or less on the clock. The only thing they can do is tip it in. I do agree on the clock operator part. The TSSAA should provide a clock keeper in basketball as they do in football. I mean you have more games that come down to the wire in basketball than in football. I would like to see proof of the clock, but I don't.

From the way things look 4A might have to do what 2A is currently doing. Just count from Knoxville to Bristol the teams that could potentially be in 4A. Thats alot. But best scenario is that only time will tell.

He played QB in high school, but Shawn Witten from Elizabethton was all-around good. He was QB, S, P, PR, KR, and sometimes lined up @ WR. Just cleary a great athlete.

Christian Prudomme from Johnson County. Kicked a 51 yarder this year, and hes just a Jr. He does everything for the team. He is the P, K, PR, KR, and WR. Really good, and I think he attended a kicking camp @ LSU this year.

Last year the K from King's Academy was kicking the ball cleary THROUGH the endzone on kickoffs. Definitley could play for a D-1. He was soccer style.

I dont think East played as good as they wanted to last week, but Unaka was just a few plays away from making it close. But it was closer than I expected. At the same time, I serously think Hampton is the best team in NE TN. The only way TN High, DB, or South would beat em is because of depth. So Unaka has played some tough competition recently, I think theyll be fired up. Anybody know what status is for Taylor?

But as far as the fans, all small schools has their fair share of fans. I know Cosby has tha 50 yr-old man that sits in the student section.

Yeah, getting back to football, we just totally got taken behind the woodshed. Dominated on the line on offense and defense. I won't say Boone didn't show up, the Falcons' line just made it look that way. Apparently, Boone cannot matchup with this team, couldn't get it done last year, either. Hopefully, Boone will bounce back and learn from this one.

 

If Cocke Co. beat Volunteer, Volunteer beat Boone, Boone beat Greeneville, and Greeneville beat Cocke Co., then you know what that means?

Central surprised me a bit taking VA High into OT. I thought they would beat North, especially after Crockett manhandled North. From the way it sounds Boone dint totally dominate Central that bad, and Boone is the only big school left undefeated. If Betsy lose this game, I bet they dont make the playoffs.

I think Unaka can play with them for a half, but that Hampton offense will have a 2nd half outburst. Hampton has too many weapons on offense. Unaka's D will be fatigued. Plus Unaka's offense will have to score some points to keep up.

Hampton in this one. As of right now, I think Cloudland and Unaka are right about even.

Startin to say on Channel 11, it looked like just parents were @ the game. I heard it rained pretty hard up on the Roan. I mean is everybody just losing hope on Cloudland. How can a powerhouse drop that low? The fan support has been down. Its ashame cuz they used literally pack the stands and the hill on Fri nites.

I bet that drive from the state park to Mitchell is fun.

Hampton would have made the 4A playoffs last yr if they were in that conf. I see South, TN HIgh, and J Co as the only teams betta than Hampton last year. They beat Unicoi, who beat Eliz. And lost to J Co by 1, who also beat ELiz.

Y would Bill McKinney come and take the job after he said that he wanted to spend more time with his daughter, cuz his wife took some travelin job? Plus thas a big pay cut and his son plays for Science Hill.

Wut about Central coach and former ETSU standout Brandon Krantz I think he has always liked Eliz? I believe he begged for the job 2 yrs ago. He has always liked Eliz.

Stan Ogg resigned at Happy Valley and is coming to EHS. I am not much on a guy that resigns this late in the year and leaves his team hanging. Moore did that to Unaka and came to EHS real late and look how that has turned out. I do not see how you can trust someone like that. Go ahead and tell me I am crazy but think about what I said first.

I agree 100% Holton, it's very sorry doing this to your team. They asked Moore I think the week before August practice began. I kinda think its sorry for Eliz to ask someone, who coaches somewhere else, to coach. That will come back and haunt them in the future.

Thas pretty sorry that you leave your team and school, about a month and a half before the season. Now they will have to rush and find a coach (I assume it will be an Asst) during summer workouts. I wouldn't g2 Eliz for nething. Alexander could let him go just like he did the administration. It will be interesting Wk 0. Does nebody know where Ogg went to school @?

How about Danny Clark. I know he is with the Texas Rangers minor league system but why not try to

 

get him? I think his wife and kid still lives in the area.

No offense, Im not tryin to be smart, but would you leave a professional team to coach high school baseball? Even though that is a wise choice and former alumni.
