  1. You are right. They are pretty darn good. There running back is one of the better backs I have seen in awhile. I hate they lost there QB. I saw it on TV, it was terrible to watch.
  2. I believe that he had a medical condition that made him miss a semester of school. The state of Tennessee wouldn't give him the term he missed, back. Mississippi has a medical hardship rule that allowed him to play here. He will be enrolling at the University of Memphis in the Spring Semester.
  3. Lord No, They followed me over here, just messin with you Sptiger.
  4. Come on down guys, we would love to have ya. I am not the best with directions but I will try. You want to get on Lamar and head south. It turns into I78. There are a couple of Exits you will pass. The one you want to take is Olive Branch/305 exit. When you get off the ramp turn left on highway 305. The first intercetion you come to turn right onto sandidge. There is a huddle house right there where you turn. The high school is just over the hill on the left. You will want to get there at least two hours early to guarantee yourself a seat. Park where ever you can. If you see an open space grab it quick. I don't usually deal with parking myself, cause I live on the next street over. I just walk to the games. Should be well over 10 thousand people there. We do alot of tailgating for the bigger games, so come on by and join us. If you want to see some video clips and photos of SP Check out www.Thesouthpanolatigers.com
  5. My team Olive Branch is in the Same District as South Panola. We have been in 5A for about 7 years. We are 1-6 against them in those 7 years. They beat us twice last year 27-3 and 26-0. The second game was in the North half championship game. I thought we had a chance when it was in the 3rd quarter. We were down by 7-0. We drove the ball 90 yards on them and fumbled at the 5 yard line. Then they got mad and turned on the afterburners. They ran it down our throats for another 19 points. It stinks being in ther district. No matter how good you are, they are always a step above you. We play them at home this year. Our New QB's dad's is Fred Smith, Founder of Fedex. He might need to order some body guards for his son, cause it's going to be a rough night for him.
  6. Saw them play against Olive Branch. They look much better than last year, but we put 60 on them last year so take it for what it's worth. They have a really good running back. There passing game is descent. There main problem is there defense. I think Melrose wins by 21 points in this one.
  7. Hey Guys, I am new poster Here. Been looking at the site for a while and decided to sign up. I am from Olive Branch, MS. We are the team that played Northside on Friday night. I just wanted to comment on it. First off the game shouldn't have been scheduled. Our last coach scheduled this game, the new coach knew it was a mistake though. We pulled all starters in the second quarter. Our starting Quarterback Cannon Smith, threw his last touchdown with roughly about 7 to 8 minutes in the second quarter. They probably threw 5 interceptions in the first half giving us the ball back in short field position. It was 75-0 at halftime. Our coach called for a running clock and we played subs plus many 9th graders in the second half. It was a tough experience for both teams. Our New Coach felt real bad afterwards for the score, but he did all he could do to try and stop it. We would just score on every play. It was crazy. Us Olive Branch fans have been taking alot of heat from this. We have been called every name in the book since friday night. I can't even get on our Mississippi Sports Talk website because I get slammed by South Panola fans. Anyway, to the Northside fans, I appologize for the score. I didn't want it like that, neither did any of the Other OB fans.
