Moore County vs Sante Fe- This will be the 4th time these teams have met this year with Sante Fe winning the last 3, the first game MC had the game tied untill the last minute of the game then folded under pressure as you would expect from a very young team, the second game MC just didn't show up in the first half 9 pts wont cut it but threw up 39 in 2nd half, Then in the District tourny we played well enough to bet them but missed 11 free throws in a 6 pt game all in all we get better and better every game AND GIRL'S YA'LL STILL HAVEN'T PLAYED YOUR BEST GAME YET KEEP PLAYING AND YOU WILL SURPRISE ALOT OF FOLKS OUTSIDE OF MC. They saw what you could do against a good Collinwood team with 2 D-1 talents. So after all that being said this game will come down to the basics again Turnovers and Free Throws if we can do that MC by 5

 

Wayne Co. vs Richland- This will be the 3rd time they have met this yr with Wayne Co. taking the first 2. But the again this is Tourny time and anyting can happen and Wayne CO. played ther best two games a year outside of the Forrest game it will take another game like those to advance and i think they will come to play WC by 2

 

CONGRATS TO DIS. 11A 3/4 TEAMS IN THE REGION WAY TO GO!

Wayne Co. has only played Richland once this year. Winning by 13 but it was much closer than that. Anything can happen as witnessed by last nights games. I do feel like whoever wins this game will probably win the region though.

 

 

 

Yes you are right they played Collinwood twice got them mixed up. And yes whoever wins the WC/Richland game will probably be the heavy favor, but goin into the Collinwood game MC thought they would match up better against Wayne County than Collinwood and look how that turned out. But one game at a time MC, anything past this pt is icing on the cake take this as a learning experience as the District and Region is yours for the taking next year with a Sr,Jr,Fr,Fr,8th starting and Jr,So,Fr of the bench this team is built for the future.

 

Keep Your heads in the game girls your just as talented as anybody out there just gotta get ya mind right!

You were right. Those D12 coaches are crafty.

 

What HAPPENED? It appears from the score updates that this game was over early.

Congrats. to Wayne County. Now go win state.

 

 

Don't know how Moore Co. and Santa Fe ends but after 1 Qt. of play its

 

Moore Co. - 13

Santa Fe - 0 Yes that is right .No typo!

      One final thought. Coach Keith claims he was not aware of the player's failing grades. I won't comment on that, just to say this, IF he did not, whose job was it to see that this kid did not play ball at CHS? That person should be looking for a job and they might be, I don't know.

      They have fired the principal, 2 teachers, at least 1 counsellor and 1 coach so far. I don't see it from my view in Oak Ridge as a coach thing, he  was just implicated in asking 1 teacher to  fix 1 kid's grades.   In our local media(Clinton and Oak Ridge)the principal is who is the originator and pusher of the fraud. The others are peripheral. The coach isn't even the big story, just here on a sports site.  The media view is the principal did it to cause CHS to be seen as excellent by the state. He committed fraud to do that so he might spend a little time in jail IF that is valid.

      And from coach himself, he wasn’t told he was let go because of the ineligible player.    that’s just what the schools needed to happen to fit their bull

      Wish it was made clear before a coach gets let go or not retained instead of being sold as the reason he was in trouble. I was told the kids who got grades changed, 97% or better were non athletes but the coach is taking all the heat so the schools can pretend it wasn’t their job to know. heck, what do you think could happen when you hire husband and wife as head principal and head guidance….   that’s not being said though…

      Hmmmmm……doe dee doe doe.  Last time I came up there to watch my pirates one of those guys in that pickup trucks flattened the tires on the lawnmower.  This is payback.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
