Moore County has beat Cornersville, Richland, CA, and Huntland but has lost to Culleoka and they have Santa Fe friday and I think Moore County will come out with a W friday

who is the best --CA, Richland, Cornersville, Moore county, Huntland, Culleoka, or Santa Fe. CA has the best record and richland is in second and so on. but Moore county has upsetted both of them. what do yal say about these teams and how there doin.

Moore County Just beat richland. 8-2 moore county had 8 hits in the first 2 innings.

The thing with Moore County is their depth. The coach moves people around to give some kids rest while playing non district teams. I understand why he does this but not sure if it helps in the long run with the catcher being an exception because they definately need rest. Coach Deal has done a great job bringing the kids together this year they are enjoying playing ball and they are always picking each other up and encouraging one another. Great to see!!

Summertown is an excellet team. Moore county is starting to play ball. They beat Cornersville yesterday and today they beat Columbia Academy. Gage Garner pitched 7 innings throwing 83 pitches. CA had 4 hits. Summertown squeeked by Moore by 1 run Saturday. Moore could upset someone.

Moore County will have to Replace the Boyce girl but other than that they shouldn't miss a beat should be very strong for a few years there very young They may have SR,JR,SO,JR,FR in the starting lineup with JR,JR, and a bunch a FR in the rotation

That be Tiffany Black and yes she is back. I see it being and all D11a region final even after loosing the D11A title Cornersville may have the easiest road they shoul beat Summertown and Collinwood. As for Moore Co. they should handle Perry Co. and then comes Wayne CO.(if they get passed Richland wich wont be easy) granted i havent see them play but a few times it looks to me that Noone else in D12a could match there post playand MC can do that and it seems there guards will shoot and can shoot but didn't really see anygood defenses played against WC. They dont seem to be very deep at Post expecially. #45 played almost all the time (the games I saw) and she was wore out but it doesnt matter when your 4 inches or taller than anybody else your pretty much just have to be there a put ur hands up and i saw ALOT of passes to her thrown over everybodys head where she just reached up and caught it. MC has 4 post players they are rotated in pretty steady that can play for ANYBODY it should be a close game if Wayne Co. can get free and hit some 3's but i dont see there post players taking over.

Predictions? Here is what I think after seeing all 8 teams play Moore Co. vs. Perry Co.- It's tough to come into MC and beat em' Look for MC to control the inside and lock up the outside on Defense. If Perry Co. can get some shots outside it could be close. But i say MC by 12 or more Collinwood vs. Sante Fe- I watched Collinwood play Perry Co. and seen Perry Co. give it away toward the end. And Tiffany Black is back for Sante Fe so they will be more competitive. Collinwood by 10 pulling away late Cornersville vs. Summertown- Summertown looks to be a hot or cold team if there hot they can compete if not Cornersville will put it away in the 3rd. Cornersville by 10 or more Wayne Co. vs. Richland- WayneCo. looked to be the best team in D12A but Collinwood showed they could be beat. And Richland is one of the more intersting teams in this Region along with Collinwood. They can play with ANYBODY when they want to.I look for it to be closer than people think- Wayne Co. by 5

Your right on the charge she may have got there a lil late (earlier in the 2nd OT there where 2 blocking fouls called were they were there alot sooner and it went the other way) i think that was from us being right there in his ear telling them that the girls should control the game NOT the refs. Like I said before Refs make mistakes just be consistant and nothing will be said. And when a girl changes her pivot foot isn't that considered a travel? All in all Cornersville and MC played great alot of respect is due to Cornersville they played there heart out along with MC. With Sante Fe getting healthy D11a could go along way in Region play GOOD LOOKE TO ALL!!!

Cornersville hit there Free Throws thats all them. But how do you call a holding Foul when there is 4 girls on the court 2 from each team with NO time remaining. But Cornersville knocked em down. Officials make mistakes but we just ask for consistancy not Physical on one end of the court and Toucy on the other, one or the other not BOTH. Congrats to Heather Van and Amber Howell for hitting big Free Throws at the end.

yes it was 2 ot's MC controlled the game Refs got Cornersville back into the game but we had some BIG free throws at the end that pulled us away. ANd the scary thing is that MC is REAL young and aint really played there best ball yet. Congrats to Cornersville they played awesome and made good on ther gifts from the refs to pull back close.

Nicely put I look for Cornersville to put Pressure and our Post players and try and make them play defense something #30 didn't do very well last game. Plus #31 will probably be limited to her action that hurts cause she played the best outta are 4 post players last game against Cornersville. #31 should be good to go Monday night its still day to day. It was a Mild one and she was pretty much out of it for about and hour and a half but came to after that and every thing is good now. Sure hope the Nelms girl can play Your right it'll be a better game if everybody is healthy.

Moore County will loose 1 well technically 2 SR's, we will have 2sr, 3 or 4 jrs, a Soph, and a bunch of Freshman next year. With ar Core being mostly JR's, Soph, Freshman next year MC should be good for a few years, altough #3 will be hard to replace we r VERY deep at Post with a Soph and 8th grader on the bench that would probably start for anybody else this year

The Semifinals start Tommorrow night! MC/Sante Fe MC by 15 Cornersville/Richland its gonna be a good one being it's at Richland could be an Upset to close o call

I look for it to be one of the TOP districts in single A Girls BB top to bottom. No alot of cupcakes in District play next year

Or will it still be called District 9. I know Moore County and Huntland are coming over from D11 but not real sure on who's leaving Van Buren Co., Boyd Christian ?Maybe? i dont know but finally Forrest and MC get the chance to revamp the rivalry a lil bit.

So the Coin flips have been made? If this is right then MC is set up where they wanna be not having to face Cornersville or Richland till the Championship. Being that its at Richland and MC hasnt seen there best yet Richland has played everybody but MC when they where at there best. And the Cornersville/Richland game will be very good if Richland can get by Huntland.

What your saying is very true. She has been injuried and Last game was probably her best game since she has been back. Besides from the turnover off her foot she played a solid ballgame. I totatly understand what your saying but wouldn't you want players in there that you know CAN make plays rather than players that everybody knows CAN'T.

The last gamed hinged on MC inability to guard Cornersville's shooter and Not able to hit easy baskets. With the exception of 1 SR and 1 JR the rest of this teams core is Sophmores, a Freshman, and a 8th grader. Inexpereince has got MC a few times this year they have improved throughout the year. MC is more talented than Cornersville but the inexperience will keep it close MC by 7!
