Melrose by 8. They are playing good right now.

White Station Won 86-80. WS had a twenty point lead in the second half until Melrose started chipping away at the lead. WS seemed to fatigue a little and started making careless cross court passes that resulted into lay-ups. WS also stopped boxing out resulting in a one-handed put back by Adonis Thomas that brought the house down. Melrose had a chance to put it away late in the 4th but one of their best shooters missed two free throws leaving the door open for Joe the Show to do his damage. Once in over time Joe the Show took over but still trusted his teammates by giving them some pretty good assist to wrap the game up. WS was still without their starting point guard so Melrose ran two defenders at Jackson but he never seemed rattled all night. As a side bar Ferokkhan Hall played the best game I have ever seen from him. He defended Thomas well, rebounded, handled the ball on the press briefly, attacked the goal after breaking the press with an array of short jumpers and about 6 dunks on the night. If he plays like that the rest of the tourney, White Station might find themselves back in the championship.

Yea and Melrose have nothing to hold their head down for. To make that come back. If we hit 1 FT we would be talking about a diff outcome. My Son Nate Played well down the stretch in the post. Should be interesting next week.

Oh no they sure don't. They could have easily threw in the towel but they didn't. They fought back and gave a very good White Station team all they wanted. I guess you're referring to Nate Rucker. We were saying last night that they should go to him more. It was obvious the only one that could have slowed him down was Hall and he was occupied guarding Thomas. Everytime he touched it on the block something good happened. Just go to work on those free throws though /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
