According to another thread, the AP Poll was just released and Greeneville is back to #1. Wonder if the Jackson Sun reporting on Lexington's "trouble with the strong rushing game of Southside" and reliance on turnovers affected the vote. I have never seen a 52-18 thumping poormouthed so much by a newspaper.

Maybe the Big Red will have some motivation to attempt to reclaim that top spot.

I was thinking the same thing. And just a side note, if you take away a hiccup on special teams and a touchdown on the 2nd team defense the score is 52-6. The coaching staff at Lexington will absolutely LOVE that they are no longer #1. They enjoy proving people wrong!

Do you really think a fat 305 lineman is going to win this game?? :roflol:

PS....Martin Westview, Hardin Co and South Side all had big lineman also. :thumb:

First I guess your talking to me even though u quoted your Lexington buddies statement!!

Second I don't recollect saying he will "win the game" for us!!

Third what does Martin westview have anything to do with Lexington and Chester county this year?

What strong rushing game of South Side? South Side had no rushing game Friday night! They were anemic at best. LHS held them to 24 yards in 3 quarters and 42 for the game! Not very often does a team rush for more than 100 yards in a game on the Big Red D!
