5-AAA

The 5AAA season is going to be very interesting:

Cleveland - gone are 2 MLB draftees. Left are Barber and Westfield. Blake Carver may have been the arm that put them in the top two, but sadly he will be unable to participate this season due to an accident. My prediction 3rd or 4th Place

McMinn - Ray and Breau will have to play HUGE roles for the Cherokees to suceed this season. Davis on the hill should give them a great opportunity to be in the top two. My prediction 1st or 2nd Place.

Rhea County - This eagle team is young and should fly high after a disappointing end to their season last year. Coach Caldwell does a great job with his guys and should be ready for a good run this year. My prediction 3rd or 4th.

Cumberland County - Is this their year? It may be the year that the team that travels the most in this district may use their sky(road) miles to cash in on a district crown. My prediction 1st or 2nd Place.

Bradley - Once a AAA power house is landed on hard times. This young team will struggle early but should be reputable by the end of the year. Westmoreland will have to carry this team much like he does the football if they are to have a chance to finish well. My prediction 4th or Last.

this district is gonna be crazy this year ..... i think that we (Cumberland) have a shot to take it home, it depends on how well we swing the stick .... our pitching will be young but with lots of experience three outstanding Sophomores Bryan Jones (6'3 175lbs), James Rinks (6'1 210lbs), and Danny Cumby (5'9 155lbs) Rinks and Jones won more than 5 games as Freshman!, the junior pitchers are Mark Barnwell (6'0 190lbs), and Justin Bell (6'4 210lbs)..... we also return all-district infielders Willie Patton and Scotty Winningham, Jake Burnett also returns at 2nd, Jeremy Wolfe and Ryan Rector are locked in a battle for 3rd .... Cumby started almost every game in the outfield somewhere, Bell also played alot of outfield, right field looks to be open with Barnwell, RInks, Chris Patton goin out for it ..... I can't wait till the season starts, it looks to be another fun, competitive season ..... good luck to all teams :)

rhea county will be hard to beat with 6 starting seniors, they arent young like everyone thinks, and they will be tough, brent rucker, josh smith, mike walters, daniel shaver, will newman, and matt hill are goin to lead them to victory this year, brian hamby and corey gerran will be number one and 2 this year, and they will be hard to hitt, rhea county will be 1st this year!
