Dresden is still weak, however, the talent level will increase with this years freshmen class and the two classes behind them. The Clements kid, however, is the real deal and has as much talent as any freshmen pitcher that I've seen in a long time. If you want to get technical the kid keeps the ball down, throws hard and keeps the ball on the infield. The problem with this is that the infield is as weak as any team you will see. Against Halls and Gibson Co. Clements kept them in the game, but your middle infield can't have seven errors every time out. So don't be scared of Dresden, but you better prepare for them and be ready to play.

Dresden 2000-2002 3 wins/ All against Bradford

 

Dresden 2003 4 wins/ Bradford twice, West Carroll twice

 

Losses: Milan, Gibson Co., Halls, West Carroll & Lake Co. all fairly respectable teams. Also consider this, even as weak as Dresden has been over the past three years, they have still kept a majority of their schedule in AA, not too many weak A teams will do this.
