Congrats to Westmoreland on the district championship. Good job Van Buren on playing hard and making it to the championship. The difference in the game was shooting, Westmoreland hit their shots and Van Buren did not. Van Buren also missed too many free throws. When the V.B. Eagles attacked the basket on offense, they scored. Too many possesions on offense when they weren't aggressive enough. They played hard, played good D, and rebounded the ball well. If they keep playing D and rebounding, they will be fine for the regions. Good luck to all the 8A teams in the region, play hard and show everyone the great ball played in our district!!!
