QB is gone, almost all of the O-line is gone, a receiver gone, tight end/defensive end gone, two running backs/line backers gone. All of the seniors that just graduated were key players and had a lot of playing time. A lot of upcoming kids though plus some veterans in key positions coming back. Just like in my days, the middle school is still fielding some pretty big teams. A year or two ago it had one of the biggest teams I've seen in a while, like 60 something kids which is pretty big for a school with currently 1A enrollment numbers. From what I can tell, it should continue for years, especially with the program being built back up right now. I know at least one kid who hasn't played in a couple years has come back, big O-lineman that should help a lot. Another kid that hasn't played in a good bit has come out to play QB, definitely has an arm. All in all, Oneida is a lot like they were in 2023, some key players but a lot of young guys that look great. Excited to see what happens this year and the years to come.
