So, why does nobody know? Why is Metro so isolated and insulated? It's like getting any shred of information out of there is an impossibility. It seems that a lot of it has to do with the fact that nobody (well, maybe about five people) actually care about what goes on in Metro. I'm not trying to be harsh, but if it's not Pearl or East, nobody cares - unless you have a super talented guy come along like Adams who puts up video-game-type numbers. Then, that gains a little bit of traction for a while. It's a strange culture, especially in an age of information to where that even the most poverty-stricken people in the inner city are completely gripped most of the time by their smartphones (not that everyone in the inner city is poverty-stricken, because there's definitely successful alumni coming from those Metro schools).
