The scores against us at mcminn central and York were aided by our defense for sure. That aside, they are doing a great job this year. I would agree with us being conservative. I guess we just don't want to risk a turnover unless we just have too. The way we have been playing i will pick Meigs +14 vs Polk. -
He was a freshman when he was there, so that may have had something to do with it. Normally kids wouldn't start at a qb at a larger school like McMinn County until their junior or Senior year. That said, hes plenty skillful enough from what I've seen to be able to lead an offense with mostly just passing. He proved that at East Hamilton. It looks like our running game is and still will be our bread and butter. Passing game aside, our run game is quite a margin better than last year just due to the speed we have on the edge alone. Teams that want to load the box get burned on the outside more often than not utilizing our speed there. It Just would have been fun watching us throw it around because we were capable of it. We seem to be playing up or down to our competition in my opinion.
