  1. Thanks for the positive feed on Clinton. Don't count us out this year either. We are bigger with more experience with the offense and it will hopefully pay off a little this 2007 season.
  2. I hope that they hit the books not only to play football but to be able to provide themselves and their families one day with a comfortable living. I hope the coach pushes the kids to achieve in the classroom before they achieve on the field. Do you think the grades are slipping because of the demands of the sports or what? I know that some of the Dragons ran into this last season....Good luck OR and CHS!
  3. I think Clinton will be better than LC and SD. They Dragons may just surprise a couple of teams in 2007. We have some good players returning and a new attitude. Don't count us out just yet. Powell doesn't need to over look the Dragons.
  4. How are the schedules picked as far as which teams they play? Powells schedule seems pretty basic, are there any teams that will be a real challenge? Are you all expecting the 2007 season to be that bad for the Panthers?
  5. thanks for giving Clinton one up on Lenior City. I think the Dragons will improve alittle this year. Some of the guys have grown alot. We can only go up!!!!
  6. That's one advantage at being on the bottom, up is the only way you can go. I really am looking forward to seeing the kids play next season. I know they are working out really hard to be bigger and stronger. I hope they can stay motivated and encourage each other.
  7. I haven't heard anything about Rhodey. He was at practice Thursday. Another bad rumor I think.... I hope your right about things looking better.
  8. Has anyone heard anything about potenial players coming up that will help out? Are there any now sophmores ready to concentrate on the varsity level (we know Weston)...Can we look to a better season?
  9. And you are what 18 and fixing to face the world with all the wisdom and maturity you need to have......First they are kids that are on their way to adulthood. You have to have some maturity about you to dedicate yourself to practice and to playing when you are such the underdog and for as long as they have been the underdog. I think what you are mistaking for immaturity is the fact that they are mixing with the underclassmen on and off the field and not dictating their leadersip.
  10. Now you are just being a real JERK! As a parent yes the first person I will support would be my child, but in supporting him I support the program. Ole Dad, some of the toughest and hardest working supporters are the MOMMIES that you seem to have a problem with and I would dare say that to be true for the Wildcats as well. It takes more than a check to support a program. Wildcat supporters I wish you all the best with your program there is some really good talent at OR....Keep the fire.
  11. I have no dog in this fight as I am a Dragon Fan. (We have seen our share of hard times and then some) I must agree it's the supporters that down the program but do nothing to improve it in a positive was that kills the program. And your last couple of lines are awesome!!!! Great positve post....Best of luck to the Wildcats!!!
  12. I haven't heard anything more on coaches. I do know that the kids are working hard to prepare for next year. I think some of the underclass are really pushing to gain position and I have heard that some of them are really shinning in workouts. The team relationships seem to be building as well, add coaches will only be a bonus to the kids are building.
  13. Hey fishsticks where did you go? I hope you aint mad or anything.
  14. The guys I have heard appear to be very positive about the way things are going right now. The discipline is there and building. There needs to be some leadership from the upper classmen (leadership not dictatorship). I am remaining positive and am expecting some good things from the returning Dragons as well as the under classmen.
  15. Sounds to me like a lot of people you talked to want to place the blame on everyone else instead of just accepting the fact that the program is still in the rebuilding and there are alot of things that still need to improve. You have to have a little care in you to go back week after week, day after day and bust your A@@. The "underclassmen" (junior class down) will continue to build this program. The process started this past season and will continue. Unless you speak to every player on the team you cannot make fair judgements based on a couple of cry baby complaints. Oh and some of the biggest play makers this past season were underclassmen.
