No I am not bashing players or coaches the job Gaddis has done at Henry county is monumental, that is why I enjoy watching them play. The players are great too, i have simply touched on what might be a weakness for the Patriots in hopes that it will improve as it did last year, warrior Henry county was not the same team in the playoffs as it was at mid season. As for your other question about the Memphis schools and Fairley beating Munford, The Titans beat the Colts late last season, does the best team always win? I say no. You are right Henry county is the most idsciplined team that has ever taken the field or at least since you coached. They are the most physical team in the west except for Westview. Theya re the most focused team i have ever seen play this great game, they are the Flawless Patriots. How dare I to point out some areas where they might improve, no improvement neccesary, afterall they have beaten NW, Liberty, Dickson, Brighton, and JCM, and Treadwell. Seems like they have no room for improvement. that is scary becasue if you are not improving odds are you are getting worse.

If I may, the two blocks in question from the 2006 season were not due to other circumstances, they were blatant blocks in the back. As for the play offs, it is quite simple, the Patriots got better after losing two straight to Munford and Soouthside. The other key was they beat 3 teams with less discipline than them and quite frankly East, Failey, and Melrose were not as physical as Munford, oh but Hillsboro was.

Real red pride, I am a fan of Henry county football and I came to every play off game that you all had last year. I think a lot of coach Gaddis and the Patriot staff. I will never cheer against Henry county, especially against Munford. I care very little for the persona that red warrior comes across with, but I see myself as just an very suspicious and respecting of my opponents type of fan, very similar to the stance you take so many weeks. Red Warrior is so smart that, i do not understand why he would be on this forum talking with the rest of us unknowing football fans. His opinion is unflawed and 100% accurate and if he ever were wrong would never see it. I was wrong about the JCM game, as I am most weeks, they are 15-18 year old kids, but if I knew as much as the warrior I would just go to Vegas and make a million every week on ball games.

Coach what did you call it when you had two touchdowns called back for blocks in the back, did you call it a display of discipline? No you just avoided that questin again. Even Last week Henry county had several big plays brought back on Penalties, if it is not a lack of discipline, what is it? I am just curious what you call that, you spoke earlier about big plays being brought back because of penalties, did you ever stop to think, that if the two blocks in the back had not been made that the plays might not have been so big. You no doubt have been on tilt with the legalities of recruiting, what about the legalities of the block in the back.

I guess warrior in all your years of coaching that you knew who was going to win every ball game as you still do. I do not claim to know half as much as you, but I too have an opinion. I have watched Henry county more than JCM this year and was quite surprised how far the program at JCM had fallen. They were not very good, they were nontypical of JCM football teams when the physicality area is mentioned. I was wrong, but I have seen Munford, I saw them play Hardin County and Northside. Munford is very methodical in what they do, it is not always pretty but there are several reasons why a team gets to the red zone and does not score against them. Call it unforced, call it what you will, Henry coutny scored 14 points against Munford last season, how many other teams held your self destructing team to 14 points. Tell me this red warrior, when Henry county plays a team that fumbles with no one around, or snaps a ball over the punters head, or even runs for a big play and it is called back on a penalty, is that because Henry coutny is so good or is it because the other team is not real good. You coached or atleast you say you coached. How many tds were scored against your team and called back becasue of a penalty. Well that is part of the game, If Henry county does not want a big play called back on a penalty, do not commit the penalty, i have always categorized penalties in with lack of discipline, Henry county had two big plays brought back becasue of penalties last year, I say lackof discipline, and the great coach you are, you probably blame the officials. you tell me please, how this is good discipline.

I am being misuderstood on this forum, I hope Henry county has not forgotten last years game, it should burn in the bellies of every one of them. Red warrior, the game at Munford last year if my memory seves me right coach, it was a HC lead of 7-0 at halftime last year, Munford came out in the second half, no smoke and mirrors but lined up and ran right at the heart of the Henry county defense and the Henry county defense were on their heels and their backs as a Fullback plowed over them and through them. Any coach of the game of football would have seen the domination in that game, especially when Munford had the ball in the second half. Henry county had not one defensive player that could tackle the full back of Munford. As I am unbiased and you warrior no doubt has a favorite, it is easy for me to understand the fog in your eyes. Henry county proved me wrong against JCM but then again JCM proved to be the same team as last years, Munford may do the same.

Not nearly as talented or as big but if you actuallly coached as you repetitively remind us then you should know that the heart of a man can not be measured by his skeleton. This team is more capable than last years team. They do meany things on offense from running the wing t, to the wish bone, I backs, and they have shown the ability to spread the field and throw this year as well. Defensively, well I have seen them 2 times this year and they have done 2 different things. From what I have seen from them, with henry countys running attack, they will load the box with 4 or 5 down linemen 2-3 LBs and man across with no safety. They will by more physical than anyone Henry county has played since Westview.

I am simply picking my favorite based on what I have seen over the past two years, Munford ran all over Henry county last year in the second half, missed opputunities could be seen as lackof discipline, there is a reason for the happenings you seem to toss over your shoulder as a fluke. I am a high school football fan that lives in the Jackson area, I have probablly attended more Henry county games the last two seasons than any other team. From what I read on your posts, maybe this site should not be coacht but red warrior as you are the coach no more but the know it all, I have kept this to myself and laughed every one of the 189 times that you have told us that you use to be a coach and have coached for 35 years well, whooptie sugar. There are lots of us retired coaches and I am still of sound enough mind to give an honest opinion of what I expect, and yes it is a very educated opinion, and if you only coached fro 35 years, it is a more educated opinion than that of yours. Heart and desire is on Munford's side, toughness is also there, they came out and owned the Patriots last year in the second half. I picked HC to win the region this year but now I am not so sure that they can beat the team that they face this week. No my motivation is simply to state my opinion, and listen to your ridiculous ramblings.

I have to go with Munford in this one, they are the defending region champs and look to be playing well, while the Patriots are playing well they have to remember how Munofrd dismantled them last season. Munford was the more physical team last year and are the more physical team this year. Henry county has the better talented players but I beileve Munford has more heart and desire to win. I went to the Munford NS game and I went to the Munford Brighton game, #8 really stood out to me in the Brighton game but I donot remember him in the NS game, Has he been with you al all year? If he has, sorry about the speculation, if not where did he come from?

I guess it is alright as loneg as folks are talking about their father being in the hospital. No idle threats during those comments. Cephus, you need to go on a cephatical, I am a high school football fan who happened to grow very fond of the football team in Henry county last season, I go t their games as often as possible, I did see the Dickson game and I was impressed, it was that week that I was on these boards talking great about the Patriots. Westview beat a Patriot team that has much more talent which makes me question how good the Patriots are. I saw a Westview team that ran a QB sweep on succesive plays maybe 4 times in a row and the Henry county defense had no answer, I wanted to be right in my predictions this year of Henry county winning the 4a state title and I guess more than being disappointed with the Patriots porous Defense, I am just upset about being wrong myself, they may still do it but they have got to get a lot better each week. Prophet, I am not a follower of the Yanker, but an unbiased fan of the game. I just wish the Patriot Defense would TACKLE SOMEONE

I agree with the Yanker, the Patriots are soft and pampered, the only thing tough about these guys is where to spend their money. I thought that Henry county was the best team in the west until the Westview game. I was sadly disappointed with their mental and physical toughness. I have read where there were lots of excuses made and that the best team lost. I am to assume that the Chicago Bears were better than the Indianapolis Colts in the Super Bowl last year. I think Henry county is a team that will do great in games where teams are soft as well but this week JCM is going to hit them in the mouth and beat Henry county. Football is a collision sport and as I see it, Henry county does everything they can to avoid contact, much less a collision. Someone called them soft and that is giving them to much credit, they are flat out scared of contact, at least it appeared that way in the Westview game. I heard from a friend of mine that Henry county does not even go full pads during the week. If this is true, that explains why they tackle, I mean dont tackle the way they do. Step out of the way and reach, I have never seen a coach teach tackling that way, it appears that the coaches at Henry county are teaching a high tech way of tackling with out contact........

I have watched this region over the past two years almost exclusively. Henry county has come from no where to be the most consistant program in the region with back to back 3nd place finishes, JCM won the region two years ago and dropped to last a year later, munford was last two years ago and climbed to first, where will they all end up this year. I do not think that JCM will climb out of the cellar, I do not think that Munford will win the region, but I do think that Henry county lacks the focus and the hunger to win the region and I believe it will show again this week as JCM as bad as they are will beat Henry county. I too see another game like the Westview game in which the Patriots will not come out and take care of their opponents early letting opportunities slip away again allowing JCM to gain confidence. With all of this said, I think that JCM will be the only region team to beat Henry county. I think JCM will lose to Munford, and Northside and it will come down to a tie between HC and Munford for the title and with a win over Munford, HC will be the region champs but unless they can get tougher mentally and physically they will hit the hardwood early this year.

Yanker, I was in attendance and impressed I was not, it looked like two not very good football teams in a noncontact game of no direction. Pleased you seem with the win, I know, it has been a while, but Liberty is a team that Henry county scored over 40 on and this was the first game they have had in which they were not beaten convincingly, I will stop with this, enjoy your two weeks in first place in the region, who is your next region game, unless it is Brighton, you will most likely lose.

Just in case the red warriored one is right and some players are under the impression that the posters on this board know anything, we do not and do not assume because your faithful fans think you are the best and can just show up and win, it just is not so. Look at the all knowing Yanker, he has predicted his team to win 3 games this season, and they lost them all. Even the Red Warrior, picked HC to win last week and they lost. 78 percentof the voters who know nothing but their hearts picked HC to win.

I would be willing to be that less than a third of football players get on these silly forums and read what a bunch of wanna bes are saying. Red warrior you seem to be someone that thinks everyone cares what you think and let me tell you, they do not, especially the students at the local high schools that play sports, yes they enjoy reading positive things about themselves so if you compliment them, they will care what you have to say, but your perspective of the game or mine, they do not care, if they did there would be more players and students posting and from what I have seen over the past few years on here, most of us are parents, fans, or former coaches who have enough time to post on coacht. You have said that HC should have won the game Friday night and I agree, and I think that is what you are criticizing everyone about, they were simply saying that HC should win the game prior to Friday, I guess it is different coming from a former coach. Either they should win or they should not win, they still have to show up and play. Do you really think that the HC football team values the opinions of a bunch of know it alls enough that they would reflect the ramblings of folks like you, red pride, prophet, yanker and so on. I also do not remember reading anything that showed a lack of respect on this board last week. The predicted scores I assume is what you are referring to, and to pick someone to lose is not being disrespectful.

well I probably have no idea what I am talking about but I will predict a 34-16 HC victory, westviews line is bigger than that of Dickson, however, Westview does not have the backs that Dickson had. The QB is a tough kid and is a competitor, but that is not enough to handle the Patriots from Paris. I am not ready to say that Westviews line is better than HC, offensively or defensively. You say speed is all that HC has over Westview, I say that the lines are very equal, qb HC, RB HC, WR HC, LBs HC, DB HC, Westviews free safety is probably better than HCs, How many players coach for Westview could start for HC. How many players for HC could start for Westview. HC has better players.

In your opinion, Westviews line is better than Dicksons and in my opinion Dickson is better. HC has more depth, more talent, and more speed. I would say that the Teague fellow that Qbs HC is a winner as well and he is probably the best athlete that will be on the field Friday night.

You seem to know most everything, but I would say that a good gate, or money had a little to do with this game being scheduled, I doubt Gaddis thought that they would be down, and I am just curious who you think may beat the Patriots in the 2nd or 3rd round.
