  1. I have set here and watched this discussion about the Lady Cats and the "drama" on this team and I feel its time to put my 2 cents in. I have a daughter on the team and I can tell you that the only "drama" with is team is what some people here on Coach T are trying to create. They are no different than any other softball team made up with 24 high school girls. This team has played 14 games in Dist. 8 AAA and have a record of 11-3. Of the three loses, they were out scored by a total of 4 runs. Also in those three loses we scored only a total of 2 runs. Believe me "drama" had nothing to do with those loses, lack of run production is the cause of those loses. No one in or around this team is pointing fingers at anyone for those loses, it is a team that did not put the hits together and score the runs to win the ball game. Dist. 8AAA is probably one of if not the most competitive Dist. in the Mid-State. Last night CC won one of the classic games these two schools always seem to play when they play each other, they got the breaks and hits when they needed them and we didn't. I'm a fan of the Tullahoma program win, lose or draw. Good luck to the three remaining team in the tour. and who ever goes on to the region, good luck.
  2. I agree, I am the one that had the first post but it was not under the subject of "Coffee vs Mighty Wildcats", it was Tullahoma VS Coffee Co. mrnoitall has joined in to try shake up some people and it has seemed to work. If you go back and read my post you will see that it was telling each team that it was a great game and both teams should be proud of the way they played. Mrnoitall is not from Tullahoma are at least I hope he's not because we don't need anyone like him around our team. This district is very competitive from top to bottom and nothing is a given. Good luck to all the teams!
  3. Another classic game between two very well coached teams! Tullahoma gets the win 2 - 1. Coffee Co. had three different scoring chances but Tullahoma was able work out of the jams with some great plays on defence. Both teams should be proud of their games tonight. The other teams in this district should be thankful that this Co. has two different school systems because if you were able to pool the talent from these two school in to one team it sure would be a power house of a team. Good luck to both teams in the district and I'm sure it will be another classic later in the season in Tullahoma.
  4. Speaking as one that went to high school at CC but now lives in Tullahoma with a daughter in high school there, there are people in both towns that have and will continue to act in a way that makes the true average sports fan sick. Unfortantly those are the one that everyone ends up talking about and people group everyone from that town with them. The people that we sould be talking about are the players, cheerleaders, band members, directors, coaches and support staff that have put a lot of time and energy into making this into what it realy is a great sporting event. The the people from CC would like their team to win and the people from Tullahoma would like their's to win. Tonight two great groups will meet in what I hope will be safe and well played game on both teams parts, and the team that makes the fewest mistakes will win. Good luck to both teams.
  5. If they are calling for rain Friday night, who's game do you think it will affect the most?
  6. It was a great game played by both teams. Each team got clutch hits when they needed them. Heads up aggressive base running is what stole the game for CC. Good luck to both of the teams the rest of the season.
  7. Tullahoma beat Columbia 3-0 tonight! Good hitting and GREAT defense. The 2nd baseman (Hood) had two all-star plays to rob Columbia of two hits and had a lead-off double to start Tullahoma's 3 run 6th inn. Great job Lady Cats!
  8. Should be a great 8AAA game. Tullahoma comes a little banged up after the game in Shelbyville Monday but still should be a good game.

  10. Any one know how the girl is for CC that hurt her knee at the end of the last game for them in Shelbyville Saturday. Don't look to good. Hope she is ok.
  11. Well the band will be there and the fans will be to, this is to big of a region match up! So bring you blanket and the hot coffee and get ready to watch the state's leading QB and his group of wideouts. Coach Olive's team will be ready to play with the only team in their sites being Whites Creek. Should be a great Reion 5-4A match-up.
