Ok whats all this im hearing about a combine @ karns high in early May?? /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

marivul will win sate again unless somebody beats them............because they have this feeling that they r invincible......which 4 the past 3 yrs...... they have been...but...i will say this who ever beats them in reg or post season.....will win state..momentum from a win like that will assuredly vault a team into a certain feeling of the david and goliath mindset......and as far as i kno there r only about a handful of teams in the state that could do that.....on paper...but games arent played on paper as a little team showed us last fall...almost upsetting them...w/ a loosing record i might add....just something 2 keep in mind....

definately not the top 5 in the state.........not even east tennessee...only 2 teams from the listing would even be considered for either of thoes rankings...KnoxWest and Marivul.........but RB does have a good team.....I hope we see U guys in the playoffs again this year......We owe u guys a whoopin.....cough cough..... /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Our Athletic trainer was at the hospital all day and he made the announcement that things "Looked Grim"......words like coma were also mentioned here... .....my prayers also go out to him, his family, and his football team

how do u put west bhind central???? wat was the logic in that....i realise i am biased but the points dont lie west but a whoopin on em last year..and with tons of returning starters what makes u think the outcome will be any different this year??

As always ZCAR great post but the reason i put hallz above central is for one reason....it dates back to an old commercial many of you may remember........WHERE'S THE BEEF???????>>Last year the games i saw of central they could run the ball...but almost always..it would be on an option to the outside..this is in no way dissing Jamie Wilson..great kid i played with him in minor pewee..fast too..but no beef+good running back= barry sanders..who if you recall could only lead the lions so far......and the same is w/ central..if they cant get a better inside run game going... when the HB comes up the middle there will be a smack louder then a sweaty fat kids butt cheeks during wind sprints after practice...... and i am also not saying that central may not have big guys that can move back some defensive lineman..but as a whole i think there may be alot of questions to answer.im the comming weeks sry bout the mental image guys.... /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> ONLY 2 weeks until spring practice begins.!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok..Ok we all know that Maruvil is a perennial super power in 4A and will beat anybody else they play for that matter We also Know that 3-4A is one of the toughest regions in the state 4A or any other division for that matter...but what about the others.......will West run away with the #2 spot in the region again.....Will Halls bounce back from their sup par preformance as of late...How will Central adjust to not having a multitude of a solid set of break out PROVEN stars going into next season.....will Powell's honeymoon with coach Lowe end before vows are even said??...And will Clinton look to rise from the ranks of the perrenial cellar dwelers?????.....O yeah and will SD do.....well...anything???? /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> ................ all these questions and more will be answered in the comming months as we get a clearer picture of what is going on...... not that it matters but here is my prediction.......I realise it early but it just for fun /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> 1st Maruvil--duh /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":huh:" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> 2nd Knox West... LOL nice....lol this year tho we will have another GOLD trophy in our arsenal...insted of that one we do have from like 64..its so old it looks like a bronze trophy..which it might as well be..cause it was soooooo long ago nobody is alive to remember it...lol....we got tons and i mean TONS of plaques but we use those to prop up tables..and stuff...lol we good luck to all teams this spring and fall but watch out 4 west lol speed killz... /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Ok guys knox west has 2 scrimages this spring Carter on the 18th and AC on the 11th.......... should both be good scrims cant wait for it ....

There is a nike combine @ UT on the 14 of april....@ 7:15 AM u can register @ recruitsunlimited.com it is free..and testing will happen..one on one drillz for positions..and a crapload of other stuff......just go to the site and see

It is indeed true..hes been w/ the team since after winter break .......attending workouts regularly...him and easterly look 2 be a crucial 1,2 punch in the passing game the d-line and o-line look 2 be some of the strongest west has had in a while..and rumor is they have this guy a defensive end who is about 6'4 270????? :unsure:if this is true i feel sry 4 the qb who has 2 take hits from that guy ......they also return all skill positions on dfense cept middle linebacker and free saftey and even there they have a guy who is game tested and proven......this is just a early overlook tho once rugby season is over we will get a real look @ wat west has this year..we scrimage AC and POSSIBLY fulton..i hope so anyway.....and i do believe that west should b on that list along w/ central..u dont make it 2 the playoffs in 3-4a and not be considered one of the top 15 to 10 toughest 4a teams or otherwise in the state...after all west finished 2nd in 3-4a behind maryville..and that is saying something my friends no matter where u are...good luck 2 all teams in spring practice..and hope 4 all 2 have a productive spring... ..As always.. ..Go Rebels

... ..............WOAH NELLY........ hold on it will take more than 2 players to put central over a 30 to 7 hump..(of last year's lost to west)...West's defense and POWER running game won that one 4 us...it is true that we dont have a quick running back w/ break away speed.......as of yet...... but a solid line and 3 bruiser backs and a stout, quick defense make west just as dangerous as last year......our front eight is stacked on defense ...again!!!!!!..and as always easterly will be a force..Ryan's success will all depend on the o-line holding blocks ....but make no mistake west is a force this year more than last...in my oppinion...we may not put up as many points but.i dont think the other teams will either..4 a 1st year defense last year we did ok....but with 5 returing starters on d and the rest with proven and game tested ability and knowledge...i dont expect any lower the 2nd in the region 4 west......i liken west to a old school cowboys squad of the 90's... defensive speed, pound the rock,and then a helthy dose of passing in between... ..As always....Go Rebels......

agreed..knox west doimnates 4 like the next 3 years..and wins 1st in tha division...if maryville really does move up to 5A in 2008..but next year will be everybodys last shot @ maryville..if it is tru that they r moving up..so take it while u can get it...but top 2 bottom i agree with next year..w/ knox west challenging 4 the top spot......(mabey).... cant say so much 4 our b-ball team tho.... Naww i just figured that you needed someone elses 2 get on so i just kinda put that in.....and if you read correctly i sadi it wasnt just him but both sides of the ball were sloppy...

Our record was 7-4 not bad considering we lost to the eventual div. 2 champs by 1 point 1st game of the season...(Webb) but it could ..and shoukld have been alot better...we replace mo. west and webb w/ fulton and sevier co. 2 equally good teams..so it should b interesting ..oh plus karns... as always go Rebels...

So tru sneaky im not sayin yall didnt have a great year..but put it this way..if rhea co., RB and clevland were in 3-4A all of themm would have at least 1 more loss than they already have...... ......Example Clevland beat rhea co. but clevland got completely WAXED by knox west...who also gave RB the closest game of the season. i think knox west and RB next year will b a great game and one i look forward to

lol.....good one i dont think marivul is over rated.....i just think its gotten to tha point where ppl r almost afariad 2 play them tough..i kno 4 a fact when knox west played them our qb..(who will remain unamed) ... his ballz were in his throat and dfense was terrible....ppl just need 2 go out and play them if they are tired of hearin all this stuff do sumethin about it......

can we get a oooorah for knoz west picked only in front of lenior city and clinton and ended up beating powell, halls and central ...all by i may add 2 td's or more....and 1st playoff appearance in 3yrs. and killing clevland..and returing a total of 8 ppl on defense and......2 of the most prolifice playmakers in 4a jake ryan and ken easterly..looks to be another great year 4 knox west
