Playoffs begin Week 1. This is a crucial matchup between 3-4A #3 and 4-4A #2.... This one has potential to be a barn burner..West is comming off of a 4 game win streak and riding their run into the playoffs. And it is my understanding that Brainard has some unreal speed @ their skill positions...other than that im not too familiar w/ them.. To any Brainard fans out there enlighten me on your program..

totally agree with that....but Campbell County is nowhere near the talent level or the football level period of a Bearden or Farragut team both of which are expectd to make very deep runs into the playoffs where as somone stated earlier that CC will barely (if at all ) get in.......just a thought.....not to mention Powell lost to West.....

If everything works out as it is supposed to for West, they will end up playing Brainard 1st round and winner of Clevland vs. Halls game 2nd round....Assuming Halls beats SD this week.....that is assuming West takes care of buisness against Central.

Two replies to that.. 1. There hasnt been a QB yet to simply just light up the scoreboard, or the stat sheet for that matter this year against West...(except Burnett) 2. Over the past 3 games (Marvul included) which would consist of Lenior City, Maryville, and Clinton, none of these teams has rushed for over 100 yards...... just a thought....... srry to butt in but in still miffed to know that people dont think west can beat central..and in my opinion central was beatable b4 and after the marvul game.......

West is not as another person said "Pitiful" there is a good chance that west could win out for the rest of the season..and win or loose they will still be in the playoffs come season's end....

aww man ruse cm on where is the love man?????...lol although i do think it will be closer than last year i do not believe that Halls will be able to run w/ West...if Halls wants any chanve to even be in this game then they had better get faster quick..because speed kills especially in this region....my prediction..... West-42 Hallz-14 Speed kills....its as simple as that.... hopefully west's players will back for the gme tho..

Win or loss Friday night the Red Devils need to make sure West know Saturday morning that they came to the Crossroads and got knocked around, I dunno bout all that.... west has a habit of being a tough minded team ..whatc out for this to be a physical game....

good game by both squads...... but now to these nay sayers of the West players.......IF U DONT KNO WAT WENT ON THEN SHUT UP!!....If West wanted to start Jake for the whole game they could have and even though it would have been looked down upon by many they would have been well within their rights and mabye even had a different outcome to the game.....take the Bobby Bowden approach...why jepordize ur chances of winning by suspending him...make him run stadiums for the whole practice .....suicides...up-downs....or clean the stands after the game on Saturday morning....im sure either way he would get the point..im not saying the punishment was unjust ..but believe me there is more than one way to get a point across to a player that u dont make boneheaded mistakes than to suspend him for a game....or half a game for that matter.... ..just my thoughts.....

For the last time it was not a DUI......if u dont kno then dont worry about it ....things will happen as the coaches see fit. And i agree w/ some people this could actually help West...with Wagner as QB it could give them a advantage as far as escaping blitzes and getting a oportunity to make a play on a third down when any other time it would be a sack........the worst thing farragut could do is to underestimate Jack because he is a "2nd stringer"

deff not a fluke.....as much speed as fulton has west plays in a much tougher region..and is used to playing a tougher schedule.. one where every team every week can and will try to beat u..not taking anything away from fulton..but they pretty much run over all the teams in their classification cept catholic..and even last season in the playoffs they killed them......but i think last night turned alot of heads as to where west stands this season as a team that will be hard to recon w/.......it seemed as tho once west figured out what fulton was trying to do...they just stoped them....good game..to both and good luck to both as well!

knox west seemed to put it to em after the 1st drive last night in the KOC jamboree....

he he ihavenofriends ....lol sorry i irritate u so...i am just passionate about my team..i will admit it was the central game i was thinking of about the rout..but i am man enough to admit my own mistakes....sry....lol..i feel that u think i hold farragut in low regard..i do not..in any way shape or form i think they are more than a worthy opponent....i just believe that in th9is game west has more to prove....that is all and over the past couple of years when west has kinda been the underdog (i.e. central last year) west has rissen to the challenge and in many cases dominated....i dont think west will dominate..but i do believe that west willnot take this game lightly and come to play a physical game.......get ya popcorn ready.!!!!!!!

west high has had fball practice....@ 4:00 today and yesterday..... it was hot ...but players got through it....extended water breaks and no helmet / shoulderpads during instructional time helps as well........

i agree it will be a fun one ..but just because west dosen't average 275 acrose the line dosent mean that West dosent have big ppl that can't play....and what they may lack in size they can make up for in technique..
