Hey anythings possible, and I haven't seen ya'll play, so I could be totally wrong, and I am ok admitting that. From the sounds of it it will be a great game, and one heck of a shootout. Lets hope for a great game and no injuries eh?

Peabody can't stop mayes...or cunningham....or mahan....or the goodpasture offense in general. Goodpasture wins by at least 2 tds.

Medley went to Bucknell up in PA. Mayes is just fast as ever, and he will burn you for a long fun if you aren't careful, as will Cunningham, the kid chased down Golden Tate last year as a sophomore, so its just speed all over the field.

I do believe Alcoa has only beat GP the past 2 yrs in the state final...and i fully expect that we will see round 3 this year in the boro...

Congrats Alcoa...great team...all I have to say is again Goodpasture couldn't finish drive just like SC couldnt last week..which is a great credit to Alcoa's D...great team...

Hmm...I know that almost all the SEC school have talked to Mark Fisher (Goodpasture), as has Loiusville and Michigan...he's a big time player. I don't know where the kid from Alcoa, Ray Sykes, is gonna go, but he's gotta be one of the best lineman in the state as well.

Agreed....I see no reason for Fish to do that...as long as I've known him (5 years) he hasn't ever been disrespectful to anyone at all...this is all one big way to try and get a team fired up....and if people beleive it...thats their problem

Well, if it was at the press conference deal, I'll say there's a 99% chance that it didn't happen. I'm pretty sure there were six players from GP there, and none of them would be that disrespectful. They were all srs. and all captians for the team...I don't believe it for a second

Pretty sure Mark Fisher had one heck of a career at GP too..and he played his entire sr year. I say the best two lineman in the state in 2A (Fisher and Sykes) will play Friday night...somewhere Donald is not....

either way they are the best two teams in 2A by a long shot....

Looks like Goodpasture will have their hands full with that list...but they have some very good players as well. Fisher, Groves, Locke, Medley....I'm hoping for a good game.
