  1. Who does have the best offense in 2A? Alcoa always seems to have tons of talent on both sides of the ball, and they have played with some of the best 3A and 4A teams in the state. I wouldn't overlook Goodpastures explosive offense either though, who are putting up over 40 points a game. I think the key to Goodpastures success is the multiple backs they can use to run the ball, up to 7 differant backs in a game, and also their line is built for the running attack, because of their size and skill advantage, it makes them one of the more dominate offenses in 2A. Who else do ya'll think deserves consideration for their offense?
  2. O yea, there is no doubt that Golden is an amazing player, but go check out Cunninghams 80 yd TD run later in the game, GP's 3rd TD I think, he was moving on that one too, they are surely the two fastest players I've seen in a long time.
  3. Then you should maybe tell your players not to leave stuff hanging up in the visitors locker room telling them how bad they are gonna get beat...and then not holding up on your end of the threat....what goes around comes around my friend, you'll do well to remember that
  4. Goodpasture is my pick to win this one, and win it big. After loosing this game last year, Goodpasture is hungry for revenge, and will get it. They are much improved from last year, with an absolutely rediculous running game that no one has been able to stop yet. And if Goodpasure feels like it, they can throw the ball around a little bit as well, as they did against Fairview. Goodpastures is putting up over 40 points a game, and their defense is only give up just over 13 points a game. They are completely dominating everyone they come in contact with. Their lines both ways are just too big, too good, and too strong to be stopped. With Fisher, Locke, and Groves down in the trenches, everyone in this region is outsized and outskilled. Goodpasture rolls in this one.
  5. Yep, CPA may be the only team that can give Goodpasture a run for their money, but I still see Goodpasture going undefeated in the region. Their lines are just too big, too strong, and too good, they are just built for Goodpastures running attack, and apparently Goodpasture can throw the ball as well as we saw in the Fairview game. Goodpastures secondary had something like 5 INTS, and they were dominate the entire game. Goodpasture is the team to beat in this region, more than likely the team to beat in 2A period.
  6. I'm pretty sure that it's the second TD for JPII, but don't hold me to that, but Cunningham was flying, fastest player, i've seen, period.
  7. So, after a few weeks there have been some great games, but what are some of the best still to come? Goodpasture at CPA should be one of the most anticipated games in the region, possibly in the midstate. This game has region champ written all over it, whoever comes out on top finishes first in the region, with the loser finishing second.
  8. Then you missed the GP JPII game, and watching Cunningham run down Mr. Tate, or very nearly do so. If he'd had another 5 yards before the endzone, he had Golden, and he got a very late start, he's the fastest player I've seen.
  9. Yep, GP looked dominate yet again against Fairview, and showed that they can do more than just run the ball. Now people are going to have to defend more than just the 7 backs they use to run over everyone, they have to watch out for the passing attack too...goodpasture goes undefeated in the region, and then starts the march for the boro!
