Was this at the 7v7 in FL?
Nope the GreenEville games. Hall was clearly concussed late in the game a nobody pulled him out. Mooge was the only one that seemed worried about him. An the ACL incident happened a few years ago when Martin tore something in his knee but was still allowed to keep playing.

Was he forced to?
They were allowed to continue to play. But they're kids and the coach is the adult and the adult allowed them to make bad choices.

Why did the QB go to OR?
He didn't want to have to play in a game with a concussion or blown ACL.

How many do we graduate? Key losses and what do we have coming back? That upperman game so extremely frustrating to watch and I'll leave it at that.

That game ? You mean the one where Stanton Martin, the dual threat qb for AC got his knee hit?
The one where Greeneville fans were yelling, teasing him and openly calling for the Devils to take out his other knee?
The one where Gv fans celebrated any time AC had an injury?
The one where the AC qb finished the game on one functional leg, literally.
Yeah, I remember that game.
Injuries are a part of sports, but the fan behavior on display that night was beyond terrible. GV fans felt so entitled to a championship that when it was threatened, they showed their true colors. They were openly calling for GV players to hurt AC players. And celebrated when it happened.
I heard a Greeneville fan kicked your dog that night too. Don't forget that.

You couldn't be any less right. As far as assuming they both score 50 points against Greeneville, there was at least a chance of that happening. However, there was ZERO chance that they'd not score which is what your 69 point assertion implies.
I refuse to carry on this silly argument. The simple fact is that you neglected to count 21 points that were actually scored against Greeneville. If it makes you feel better to throw out inaccurate statistics, then so be it. Goodbye SchrodingerThe positive stats didn't count for those games either.... It's football there was good chance those were all the points both teams could have scored. That's why the game is played. Greeneville isn't your average team Alcoa and DB play we're very capable of stopping both teams. I never said both teams wouldn't have scored I was looking at it from a logical perspective, you're basing your assumption off feelings. My point is you will never know and I will never know because the games are history. The only thing you're right about is how stupid this argument is.

You might want to correct your misspelling of the word assume.
Schrodinger? It doesn't take quantum physics to see that you're completely off-base if you can't see that the 69 point total completely excluded those 2 games. Let's stick to basic math, and not physics.
Do you have any idea what you're talking about? Dobyns-Bennett had already scored 14 points when the game was suspended. Alcoa had already scored 7 points, and it wasn't even half-time. Regardless of whether they scored again or not, the 69 points mentioned in an earlier post DOES NOT include the suspended games. If you add in those partial games, it's 90 points. Without those 2 games, the remainder of the schedule is pretty weak. Elizabethton, Morristown West, and Tennessee High were the only reasonably tough games this year during the regular season.
Naw I'll keep it how it is the points been made doesn't make me less right. By your logic I can assume the devil's would have scored as many points as I think. Right this is how it works? Go ahead and assume Alcoa and DB BOTH scored 50 points each and Greeneville didn't score the rest of the games that's still less points allowed and more points scored then AC all season

Just like last week, this matchup comes down to the play on the line. Skill positions are great at each school. The line will be the key. Keeping a passing QB clean, establishing the run OR stopping the run and forcing a QB to beat you with his arm. The chess match begins!
I believe we have a notable advantage at kicking which could be a large factor in this game.

To be fair, that's a bit misleading since this doesn't include the Dobyns-Bennett and Alcoa games.
Schrodinger's points. You or I don't know if points would have been scored or not. Since the games weren't finished no points were scored you can't asssume.

I think the question Captain Guru is will the AC Mavs be able to mercy rule the Greeneville Devils, that's the question?
On a defense that's only allowed 69 points all season? He's captain guru not captain obvious.

Last year we has some injures going into the 3rd round. Yes we need to clean up some penalties but some of these penalty calls have been ridiculous. Whoever wants to win this game has to limit the penalties and not turn the ball over
Agreed. We're going to have to keep good pressure on the QB and force him to force a play. IMO if AC is gonna beat us it's through the air. I like our odds in this one.

Does Anderson county keep marching to back to back championships or does GreenEville take care of business at home?
I'll say if we (Greeneville) wanna keep this season going we're going to have to clean up our penalties. It's a little late in the season for that but you can teach an old dog new tricks lol. Let's talk!!

Gibbs Eagles will not be able to beat much less mercy rule Greenville Devils in this game. It will not happen. I guarantee it. I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.

Mavs. Scariest 4 loss team in the state. I listened to Mavs coach on the Free Medical Clinic Scoreboard Show last night. He’s right. It’s gonna be a dogfight. I honestly think the Betsy O-Line needs to block better against the Mavs front four. If we allow a four man rush to disrupt us, it will be a long ride home for basketball season!
I'm not buying it. The only semi competitive teams they've played they've lost too. Betsy is gonna pop them in the mouth a few times and they'll implode. Betsy will gap them but not run away with it. In the process they'll build up confidence and steam to make round two in Greeneville a classic Greeneville Betsy rivalry battle!

As long as they keep letting them recruit players into the program they are going to be hard to beat at any leave. What's funny to me is why would you want to keep just playing in 3A football. Why would you not try to compete at the highest leave to see where they actually rank up.
If you build it they will come...
