  1. What are your ideas and thoughts about the top kickers in East Tennessee? Carlos Espinoza, Loudon High School, Jr. It's his first year kicking for the football team. He is a star on the soccer team, so he has a great leg. He is an EXCELLENT kicker from what I've seen. His farthest field goal kick was 47 yards I believe. Watch out for him.
  2. Yes. I thought this was going to be a great game. Tried to get there to watch it, but plans came up and I couldn't get there. Best of luck to both teams!
  3. Stone Memorial forfeited against Loudon for a game to see who would go on and play CAK on Monday. I guess they thought they didn't have a chance. Loudon plays CAK on Monday. For this game, I believe it's either going to be a blow out or Loudon might be able to show something. As an onlooker, I can't really say which one it's going to be. I have seen teams in the past really come out with something. And then I have seen teams who just stomp the other one in a breeze. So I'm anxious to see! What are the other games that are going to be taking place on Monday in their district?
  4. Hm. Well all I have to say is that's a pretty good plan to me. But anywho.. it isn't about playing club soccer. It doesn't help anything if you've got 3 or 4 on the team that have played club. You need a TEAM that can PASS and work the ball around. 3 or 4 talented players won't cut it. It's a TEAM sport. Club may mean you have a little more experience and talent, but if you don't work well with the team you're on, it's pointless. As an outsider looking in, if your daughter plays for Loudon and they are playing the reigning champs, don't you think it's in your best intrest to keep your mouth shut about what the OTHER team needs to do. And as for whoever saying that Loudon has no talent.. personally, I believe they do. Half of their team is freshman and sophomores, if I remember correctly from their roster. They have I think 5 Juniors and 2 Seniors. The rest of them are underclassman and some are beginners. Give them a break, seriously.
  5. CAK plays Loudon Tuesday evening at 6:00 I think. How is CAK doing this season so far? and how is Loudon doing? I've heard that CAK has lost some seniors, but is still strong. And I've also heard that Loudon has lots of speed up on the front offensive line. Outcome? Predictions of both teams?
  6. I agree 100% with what "cakes" said about the 2 officials. Even worse, sometimes there is just one. If you just have 2 officials then it is much more difficult to see the fouls and intentional hits. I think that we should make it to where there MUST be three refs at every game. It's too risky and unfair if there are just two or one.
  7. Their keeper did make some great saves. Some of those dives were incredible. #10 had some runs (on the Alcoa team) but no one capitalized on the crosses. Still wondering how they (Loudon) will do against Catholic on Tuesday. Does anyone have any predictions?
  8. Here is Loudon's scores:: +Sequoyah/ Won 1-0 +Anderson County/ Lost 3-0 +Stone Memorial/ Won 2-1 +Kingston/ Lost 2-1 +Tellico Plains/ Won 7-0 +Oneida/ Lost 4-2 +Alcoa/ Won 4-3 In all honesty, they should have won all the games that they lost and I'm not just saying that just to say it. I think that this team will be the one to come out and shock us all. They play Catholic on Tuesday @ their home field.
  9. The Loudon Lady Redskins beat Alcoa yesterday 4-3. It was very impressive. Loudon had a pretty tough season last year. This year the coaching position was handed over to Adam Cook, and obviously he is turning this team into something. They play Catholic on Tuesday at their home field, I believe, and I am anxious to see how this game will turn out. You never know, Loudon might come out and shock us all. Have you all heard any news on this team?
