Have you guys forgotten about Jack Belote from Memphis and Joe David who goes to Goodpasture. I believe they are the #1 and #2 ranked juniors in the state according to NJGS.

Science Hill won the Region 1 Tournament at Ridgefields Country Club in Kingsport TN. They beat Jeff County in a playoff on the second hole. Dane Voss was medalist and also made two key putts for birdies in the playoff. Individual qualifiers were Tyler Smith, Volunteer Joe Reynolds, DB Nick York, Sullivan South and one of the boys from Jeff County (sorry can't remember his name, but I think he might have been a freshman)

I know some of you thought Jeff County had a chance at winning state but unfortunately they won't have a chance. They lost to a pretty good Science Hill team in a playoff that went to the second hole. Jeff Co was the only team at the Region 1 tournament to post 4 scores in the 70's, too bad for them it wasn't good enough. DB who some of you thought was the best in the state came up short. Sorry but a 313 won't win state.
