Giles is in a weak district.But they would still have a '' good '' record. As for recruiting.........open enrollment is probably worse..........But you play the hand thats dealt and dont cry about it. All the GC players and fans I know are proud of the battles they had with DL. Some of the best high school games I have seen. Best of luck to PC & DL..................but GO MUSTANGS.

I was getting ready to go to the house and thought I would check in T and see what else was going on and seen your post. That was an amazing quarter...did you see the half time stats.....GP had the ball almost 20 minutes......unbelievable. LC is no GP though. Hard to believe GP is a 2A when you see that happen.....feel sorry for all those 2A in the playoffs.....Alcoa we know about (open) Gp (private). Makes you scatch your head. I understand, not sure if its accurate or not...but heard Milan was a closed zone school now, so that leaves only one that has a chance. The others I feel sorry for after seeing that display last night by GP. Going to be a tough one for whoever gets them. Alcoa.....plays GP or CPA or Milan I would guess. My thoughts exactly.

MC is young, but they now have 7 games worth of experience. SH must not take them lightly. If MC makes mistakes.................SH will make them pay..............BIG TIME!! This could go the other way also........but I think SH will make fewer mistakes. SH 35 MC 21

I know you said last 5 years, but I had to go back 6 years to find a game against the old region 5-3a teams. Lewis County defeated Giles county 35 - 7 in 2003 Thats not saying a lot........Giles was the regions most wanted for homecoming for a long time. Try em on for size now.

hsffan..I watched the GP game also.They are not a typical school for their size.BALL CONTROLL. That has got to be the LC #1 priority.If they can do what Goodpasture did in the 1st qtr. for a majority of the game then LC could and most likely would beat GC.GP was on def.for 6 plays in the 1st qtr.Now thats controlling the game.

Years ago when I played at GCHS I played and worked as hard as anyone there. Now that the team is achieving what we all hoped to achieve as players, some of us just can't understand why wannabees and wishtheyweres attack the program and their players. Thats right, when you attack one you attack all.....thats why its called a team. So you and some of yours need to grow up a bit. Heck just go out to the Clinic and get them to tell you why your balls haven't yet dropped......maybe you have other issues. Deficated#62 There seems to be some anger between you two. They are very similar to the 2005 team. They are good up front on defense and have a great linebacker in McConnell. On offense they can throw it with Hooper and they have a great receiver in Smith. They Red Hawks bread & butter is their running game though and they have a variety of solid backs in Adkisson, Bell, & Odom. Sounds like the Redhawks could make a little post season noise.

gchsrb.. I'll tell you a little bit about mike. (Clue #1) He's about 5'6 at the most and played on the team last year. (Clue #2) He was a receiver who played some special teams. Now wait I know what you're thinkin.. who the heck could that possibly be!? Maybe this will give you a little bit better insight on the man behind the ID.. (Clue 3) Wallace came in as a freshman and took his position as a backup quarterback and he is still carrying the grudge till this day.. Sound familiar anyone? Wrong answer! Hmmmmm. Wrong answer? Could be.I happen to know the man implied in this post. I cant say it is him,Could be.There are some on here that think they know who is who, They really have no clue.If I were #12s dad I would look real hard ,a little closer to home,or maybe at work,on who is ragging him and his.Things are not always as they seem.Sometimes your worst enemies are the ones who pretend to be your best friend. Just another injustice caused by this new district junk. There will be some really good teams from this district to be left out of the playoffs in favor of teams not half as good as any of the above.

Giles will (probably) win and win big.I agree that if LC gets down big early I would pull my starters without a second thought.The playoffs are more important.This is a lesson Giles seems determined to learn the hard way.Why risk injury to key players in situations that do not have any importance at all????Something Giles does every week lately. OH, Dont even try to argue this point.......you know its true. As for this game it will go something like this 1st qtr pretty good, LC hangin in there, Giles scores once on a run then again with a deep pass,miss the 2 point try. 2nd qtr. Giles scores quickly with another deep pass and again with a long run. From here its a race to get those 50 points before halftime so leave all starters in. 3rd qtr. 50 points in hand, Giles sends in most of 2nd team,scores another td 4th qtr 3rd team subs and LC scores twice. Then again............Lewis could shock the world and defeat the Bobcats. Stranger things have happened.
