  1. I do too because we all saw how the Camden game turned out with everyone picking against us. Facts of the matter are, Morris has shown nothing thus far. If you think all Morris is going to do is run up the middle like he has the whole year, than you're sadly mistaken. I'm guessing Martin will see a whole arsenal of plays that has yet to be seen. Let them think they will win though because Morris and Co. has showed they love the underdog role even though they are put in that role rarely! J.W., Tristian, Bledsoe, Trevino, Coleman, and Mr. Gilbert will show Martin an explosive offense Friday Night!
  2. I love JCS because it's one of the finest, if not finest institutions in West TN. They have classy fans, players, etc.... I may have been out of line when I called them out, but I promise you that's just the feeling around HS football regarding the refs. The intentional grounding was on JCS's 2nd to last drive, but it didn't really matter because yall had to punt because it was a 3rd down play. I overreacted, but if you're a fan of a team that has 12-15 penalties against 1, then you are going to be upset especially with a lot of no calls the other way (intentional grounding, coaches wanted a facemask on JW but refs said they grabbed the back of his collar even though JW went face first which defies physics if the guy grabbed his collar.) Good luck to JCS, and I feel for you guys that you don't have the opportunity to easily defend your 1A championship. I hope to see yall in November, and I'm sorry for any distasteful comments I made.
  3. I may get bashed for this but oh well. Milan had somewhere in the range of 12-15 penalties. The penalties seemed to be all when there was a big play and guess what there's a yellow hanky from a ref saying holding. JCS fans may not like it, but the feelings are around 1A and 2A football are that JCS gets the benefit of all the calls. A prominent coach from Milan (not going to throw him to sharks) came near the stand areas after the game and was blasting the refs saying they missed numerous penalties against JCS. Also, Morris and co. was very upset right before half-time when a very clean block(taught by Milan coaches where you just grab inside the shoulder pads, where they can't move; PERFECTLY LEGAL BTW) that negated a long run to put Milan in range of taking shots at the end zone or getting a very close FG. BTW JCS had 1 penalty all night and that was only because Milan got them to make contact with an O-lineman after a hard count on 4th and short. Can anyone tell me how in the world can a QB that is inches from being on the ground can throw a pass that maybe went a foot and no intentional grounding? He wasn't outside of the tackle box, but even if he was you still have to throw it to a receiver that's either in the vicinity or across the line of scrimmage. Guess what? He did neither. Luckily, it was a 3rd down play, and they were going to have to punt anyway. Tonight did nothing to get rid of the "CHEATING REFS FOR JCS" Syndrome!
  4. 4 TD's huh? Well lets look at the other team, Milan consistently drove the ball on you guys, but they failed in the red zone. So if we use your logic, then Milan should've won by 4+ td's. Best team won tonight, and I can't wait til the showdown with Martin toward the latter end of the season.
  5. Milan stopped running, while Camden had three players running so that is hardly everyone going full speed. Yall only had one TO and spent that on first down. The refs did spot the ball late, I give that to ya. However, you would have to return a punt for a TD. If that was what you were counting on, then something is wrong.
  6. Not to mention a drop that would resulted in a TD. This team was built around the passing game, thus resulting in big plays of the running game vs. Huntingdon. Just because Peyton Manning has an off game, doesn't mean you can take those stats and say INDY isn't built around the passing game. There's more to football than stats just ask Vince Young.
  7. Lol I bet Pero or whatever his name is won't come on here to post on this thread. Facts of the matter is Morris is the best coach in West TN and will always have his team in a ball game.
  8. I'm just hoping Camden fans (like the one on the HS scoreboard radio show) don't come on here crying about the officials. The guy on the radio said, "Officials were probably the worst he had ever seen in a HS game, and then goes to "prove" it by saying Milan had no penalties in the first half, and then he said the refs called back a TD that put Camden would put Camden up by a TD after signaling a TD and suddenly throwing a flag for holding after the play was dead to call it back." Problem with that is that Camden got flagged by the line judge for offsides NOT HOLDING, and he threw it right when the ball was snapped. Camden fans couldn't see it because the Line Judge was on the Milan side of the stadium. There will probably be some that contend that they had another TD when they stripped JW. However, they will fail to tell you that the Refs clearly blow the whistle and then 5 seconds later a Camden player just takes the ball from JW and acts like he's going to run it for a TD. They won't mention that Milan got flagged for an "ELBOW" and put em back 15 yards when they had the ball at the 50 and ready to seal the game away. The only thing I can get from the personal foul call is that the ref was still in basketball mode BECAUSE I'VE NEVER SEEN AN ELBOW CALLED IN FOOTBALL!!! They won't mention a phantom holding call that the refs called on Milan's first possession in the 2nd half. The ref calls the holding when he sees the two lineman (DL and OL) fall down together. Problem with that is the Milan RB was already 10 yards ahead and those two were out of the play and just tusseling. I commend Camden for their classiness in the football game. For the fans at the game, you would see that all of Camden and Milan's players were helping each other up and patting each other on the helmet after every play. After seeing the USJ's and GC's of the world, you come to appreciate the great class each team exhibited tonight. BTW to end this long post, I would like to say Milan is the best team in 2A when they get Justin Coleman back. This team was built around the passing game (SEE HUNTINGDON GAME WHEN COLEMAN WAS HEALTHY IN THE FIRST QUARTER AND A HALF), but they just won against one of the best teams in the state with a one dimensional offense. I commend Coach Morris and Co. for the preparation of this game, and I can't wait to see this team in two weeks when Coleman comes back.
  9. So lets see, you give the Humbold game, Crockett Co. game, Trenton game, and Goodpasture game. Wow Morris seems to be a great coach if he only calls 4 bad plays. If you think this Milan team was not motivated vs. the Goodpasture team than your a complete idiot that just loves to bash Milan. I hate to refer to childish nicknames but those players gave their hearts out, and you could tell with their crying at the end of the game. Trust me, they didn't work their way back last year after the forfeits to come out and play with no intensity! Coach Morris blamed himself on that Trenton loss, and he admitted it in public the next morning. To fill you in on some inside information, Morris thought it was a gimme game and scouts from d1 schools were there to watch Daylan. Morris blamed himself for trying to "showcase" Daylan instead of winning. You forget to mention, however, that the very very average team that Milan had seen in years that year was a couple of points from being in Murphreesboro. Trust me, no coach in West TN could've won that many games in the playoffs with that team. You said Morris has won ONLY (which is hilarious) championships in a decade. Umm, Milan won 0 before he got here since the late 70's so why didn't Tucker and the others win a championship? Mansfield at Huntingdon has won 1 championship in the past decade, so is he horrible? You name me a coach outside of the coaches at Alcoa that has the impressive resume as Morris does at Milan. To say Milan has superior talent is the dumbest thing I've ever heard because MILAN HAS WON DESPITE LESS TALENTED TEAMS AS IN 05. MORRIS HAS NEVER MISSED THE PLAYOFFS IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN, WHAT OTHER COACH CAN SAY THAT? I'm sorry but no school has 10+ years of great talent run through their system unless you're a private school, so you must attribute a lot to the coaches! Last of all that ping-pong and whatever else you said in reference to allowing a score was just plain dumb. You couldn't stop Huntingdon's run game because the O wasn't on the field long enough and the D-line was wore out. You have a minute and a half left, and you say it's dumb to do that? Do you want a chance to win, or do you want to lose by 1 point?
  10. Since you want to talk about Huntingdon's mishaps. How about the TD we gift wrapped yall before halftime. Instead of kneeling and going in 14-0, we gave yall a TD. Milan dominated this game, but the score doesn't indicate it.
  11. What you didn't notice on that tape was that a USJ player was always diving at Austin's legs even if he wasn't running the ball. What you didn't see on the tape was the constant use of racial slurs used by the USJ players. What you didn't see in the tapes was what was going on at the bottom of the pile (BITING BY USJ PLAYERS). One of Milan's offensive lineman got SAND thrown in his EYES!! Another one of Milan's offensive lineman get kicked in the GROIN AREA! I've talked to the refs that officiated this game, and they said USJ was the most classless team they had ever officiated!
  12. I'm not making excuses, but if Milan and Crockett played at the end of the year; It would be a classic! Let me give you guys a few stats. Milan ran over 30 offensive plays in the first half, when we dominated. This O-line was wore out in the second half, leading Coach Morris to an extreme conditioning week the week after. Crockett is a great team, but I think we could take em if it wasn't our first game.
  13. I love you guys on Friday Night. However, I was the one that called you off air and reported what all Milan coaches said. By the time I turned the radio off around 10:30, you guys were still reporting about Milan's forfeit. Just listen to me guys, I will give you the word straight from our coaches mouth lol.
