No one is disrespecting Maryville and no one said that Red Bank IS Maryville. I said Red Bank can beat Maryville, which is true, but that is in no way disrespecting Maryville.

You were right about the scoring - red bank scored High (very high), and brainerd scored low (very low)!

He is in the same fantasy world you are in - 1. Maryville doesn't have better coaches or players than Red Bank, and 2 - Maryville wouldn't have home field advantage. Maryville would have to come to Red Bank to play. Miracles DO happen! But, the Red Bank coaches and players are not thinking about Maryville. They are only focused on Cleveland!!!!!!!!!!! Go Lions!

I always thought you used scrimmages to find out what works and what doesn't. Better the things that do work and change the things that don't. It is also a time to try new things. Isn't that why you don't "technically" keep score?????? What is your point?????????

I'm not sure why you think that, but I can assure you, I am MUCH older than Coach Simpson. I just use the #4 for the # of grandkids I have.

You saw a scrimmage, not a game. Anyone that knows anything about football knows that you can't base anything on a scrimmage or one qtr of play!

How can anyone say RB is not a great team? Coach Simpson, (a great high school football player himself) used a 5 receiver rotation with his receivers on Friday night in the game against Brainerd. If I am not mistaken, all 5 receivers scored at least one touchdown each. I am wondering, has their ever been a high school game where 5 different receivers all reached the end zone? Or is this a state record? I have seen a lot of high school football games, but I have never seen anything like that!

Speak for yourself! I am a Red Bank fan, I was at the jamboree, and I was NOT embarrassed or humiliated! I can't think of one single game that has ever been decided in 1 qtr. That is why 4 qtrs are played! I love the hype. It is exciting for the kids. That is what this is all about anyway - the kids! You are right about one thing.....Red Bank isn't a great team, they are an OUTSTANDING team. One of the best I have seen. They have excellent players and excellent coaches and they deserve the best.
