Hustle, I don't want to detract from the thread but to answer your question on how the kids are doing. I can't say about the others, maybe someone can fill you in, but I can say that Townsend has done an awesome job during summer camp at Carson Newman, and he has progressed well to this point. He was red-shirted originally but has been pulled and got to dress for his 1st college game today. Actually got to play for a couple series and run the ball a couple of times. He's only a freshman, and to be able to get to dress out is (I believe) a major accomplishment, playing today was icing on the cake. He has scored a TD or two in the JV games as well. Needless to say, we're all VERY PROUD of him and sure he will continue to progress. Thanks for asking!

Friendshipfan, don't call Pujo out for something I said. I'll say it again, our game plan is to come down there and bust your team in the mouth. We've got two really good fullbacks and three really good RB's. Just double team all of those receivers and stop the run. That should get it done. And I aint kiddin, that's the truth. (Well I was kiddin about double coverage, that was in humor.) Ask the recent opponents. We're balanced. Do we have enough for FC? I believe we do this year. Last year we were kinda one dimensional, not that the talent wasn't there, we just didn't have to use it. However, we did need it when TC came to town, and it was too late then. This year's different, we're using all of it.

How can you guarantee that our offense isn't better than Temple's? We've not played one another this year. If it's any consolation, Temple beat Unaka by 30 something, we beat them by 40 something, and we've gotten a lot better offensively since that game. So your logic and prediction doesn't hold any clout. Aint you got a circle drill or some color guard thing you should be doing?
