  3. 1. Jo Byrns 2. East Robertson 3. Nashville Christian 4. Heritage 5. Clarksville Academy 6. McEwen 7. Houston Co.
  4. He is a junior. This is his first year of high school football. People have been trying to get him to play for the last 2 years. Yes he will get looks from colleges based on his size alone.
  5. East's O-Line LT- 6'6" 335lbs. LG- 5'9" 265lbs. C - 5'9" 200lbs. RG- 6'0" 270lbs. RT- 6'0" 210lbs. TE- 6'4" 255lbs. They are big. But they need conditioning. They are hard to beat for two quarters. Oh and btw 3 of these players were out in the jamboree.
  6. To me its the classic battle of power and finesse. Fairview is a smooth team that does alot of things well. East will hit you in the mouth and try to grind the clock. this is a tough call. Probably gonna come down to turnovers and penalties. Which doesn't bode well for either team considering East has fumble problems and Fairview might be the most undisciplined team i've seen so far this year. ill have to come back to this....
  7. He threw either three or four interceptions in the jamboree...one half.
  8. East had a 35 yard touchdown by Marquece Bell called back. Later fumbled on the drive. East had three turnovers one of them returned for a touchdown. Defense played well except for one play. Only allowed one first down. Hand had over 100 yards in the half. Take away the turnovers and this game is 28-7...but thats football. Heritage doesn't have as good a passing game as they thought. Threw two picks. Also Fairview is no slouch.
  9. Springfield thought they could pull off better jamboree than East so they decided to stage their own. Well they only got one team to come so im sure they'll be back next year.
  10. Forrest is still the same kind of team. Hard nosed. They have a pretty good line. The best part of their offense is their full back. He's about 6' 275lbs. He runs hard. Try to tackle him up high and you'll get blasted.
  11. You're right. The reason i only mentioned woodard and cope is because the others have been replaced with equally as good if not better players. A go to reciever is going to limit them offensively but other than that.....
  12. I dont see why Jo Byrns doesnt go 10-0...Anything less would be underachieving in my mind. They will be the most disciplined team in the district(as always)and will also be the most talented team this year... East has to replace two players Woodard and Cope. They replaced one of them. Defense is coming back along with their line so they should be ok. My beef with putting Heritage in the top 3 is their line. Everyone who knows football knows that the big boys win and lose the games period. I know they have skill players coming back. Im jus worried about them getting pushed around up front. If they can hold their own up there they should be ok. but i have my doubts..
  13. Heritage is definately not the third place team in the district. The team fighting for second with East is Nashville Christian. They got everyone coming back and with Coach Brothers taking that job they are going to cause problems for folks.
  14. Well, i went to the passing leaugue at APSU saturday. I watched Mckenzie play two games. My analysis: RUN THE BALL!!! Sorry, i like McKenzie but their QB is just awful.
