So, who said that Spring Hill isn't physical? They may not be big but ask anyone in the region what happens when you go head to head with Jay Brown or Matt Dunn. Speed + Physical play = Spring Hill Win

So, quick, hypothetical question, if Spring Hill played Marshall County later in the season, than week 0, what happens? I also believe that Magwan Smith might have the edge in the most explosive player in the region. by the way BC, I think we could compromise and see Spring Hill at 3 and Cheatham County at 4.

Well I was just wondering, after looking at the scenarios, it really doesn't matter to me. Although, it would be nice for Coach Palmer to walk away from Page with a W. Tell #3 to have a great game and you'll get your wish, he very talented. And about my pick Go Raiders, wether it's 1 our 50, just win it

If the Raiders win they are in regardless of what happens with Marshall or Cheatham.

What makes you so sure tigerman? BC seems to think different and as he points out he's perfect for the past 2 weeks in the region. But quick question BC is this wishful thinking or a honest pick?

Don't think that your last statment is lost on the Raiders. They have a chance to go to the playoffs and be the team that keeps Marshall out of it. Week 0 is sure along time gone but oh what a motivating thing it may be.

Just wondering where all of the Creekwood fans are? I'd like to here them soundoff. Last year the game was determined by a lot of mistakes by the Raiders as well a good play by CW. What's going to happen this year with Playoff drames on the line?

Well as a Raider fan I really hope that both of your predictions are wrong BC. Get the kids ready for a tough game, Page is a pretty good team. Watch out for #9 and #2. As for the raiders good game, like Ned909 let's get ready for next week. And Good Luck next week Page, Give Coach Palmer the last one he deserves!

Spring Hill played a pretty meaningful game the last time they took the field. As I recall they came back from 10 points down to beat Cheatham County, oh yeah, and the Defense held Cheatham scoreless in the second half. Big Country is right ,Ned McCaster doesn't get nearly enough credit and Matt Dunn is one heck of an athlete. So with these offensive and defensive weapons (all three play both ways) this game will most definatly not come down to a kicker. If it does Roshan Patel has the leg to finish it. As for the weather that seems to be so interesting...It's going to be around the high 50's with clear skies (so says channel 4). Pretty good football weather! Oh and about Mr. McCaster why don't you ask Ned909 about his prediction for this friday. Oh and I didn't see #10 against Cheatham? It's definitely going to be a great game Friday hope everyone comes out to support both of these good teams. Oh and I hope a little high grass doesn't scare any of the raiders it wouldn't be the first time that trick has been tried (see lawrence county from this year)

Just a quick note about deserving this.... Spring hill is 3-5 after going 0-10 last year. The kids have worked hard to turn around the program. They'll come to play friday as I'm sure Page will. As for Hightower to Smith as a comparison... Smith touches the ball everyplay and is a bit more athletic. The Pats are not big underdogs the way I see it most people are picking this as a close one. As for Spring hill's road record prior to this year .... last year 0-5, the year before that 0-5 in 4-A, this year 1-3. They played a good game at Lawrence and won. About confidence, it comes from doing things right consistently and knowing what your capable of (No Doubt!!!). Winning will take care of itself. I hope that SH has gained some of it with the way they have performed this year. Marshall was close, Columbia Central went into double OT, and Giles was a loss by a touchdown. The final 2 games should demonstrate how far they've come since 0-10. By the way your right about one thing, The Raiders need to come out strong, they are 3-0 when the score first this year. Go Raiders !!!

THe Game is on Friday. Good pick but I hope Spring Hill's Defense can keep the Page score down to less than 28. It'll be a good one though.

Good Breakdown. Just wondering what happens if Marshall beats Giles (2nd string QB) and Cheatham and Spring Hill win out. THe way I'm looking at it, Marshall has the tie breaker over Spring Hill, Spring Hill has the tie breaker over Cheatham, and Cheatham has the tie breaker over Marshall. All three would finish with overall records of 5-5 and region records of 4-3. Hopefully Giles pulls it out and the Raiders can wind up 3rd (no disrespect to Page)
