As for Mt. Pleasant, how does the current restrictions on the academic day effect the program, could cause someone to jump ship if you were fighting for time with yor athletes.
Just to be clear, everyone should take a look at this past years roster about the multi-sport deal. Several basketball players and not too many baseball players.
Regardless of who makes the hire, it looks like it has finally started moving today. Both the TSSAA and Maury County website have the position posted with the deadline for applications being Tuesday. Looks like they have someone in mind...
I agree with 66 in 74. The program deserves some direction soon. Waiting to hire the head coach proves where Spring Hill stands in the county. No way that this happens at Central. The parents and the community in Spring Hill should be demanding more.
Football, may be watered down but it in no way compares to basketball and baseball. With play in games and region tournaments any team that plays has a chance at the playoffs. I liked the way the last year ran . Let's leave well enough alone.
Don't quite know if it is an administration problem as much as a combination of bad luck and location. If Sharsch does leave for Williamson it would be a step up in classification and more spotlight for him then Spring Hill. I wouldn't even classify Delaughter as he only stepped on campus twice (one interview and one basketball game). McKnight left for a job he really wanted. Mizer had other issues that contributed to his depature. Before that there was just as much turnover in the administration and the head coach. Couple of interesting things to wait and see on... What happens if the current principal retires and what does happen if Sharsch leaves. Keep us updated 66in74. Oh and was anything ever confirmed about all three Maury County Public Schools playing at Maury County Stadium?
Just trying to get some info. Can anyone tell me who is playing and where. I know Loretto made it and play in Clifton. Who else made it and is playing on?
Spring Hill's were announced earlier this week. Magwan Smith (9)- Most valuabe athlete,
Roshan Patel (11)- Most valuable Punter, and all-region members Thadd Furtaw (8) , Greg Owens (2),
and Allan Beasley (22)
I'm glad to see that this question has brought out so many new opinions. It show that people in spring hill/ columbia care about Spring Hill. I urge all new comers to come out and support the team on every friday night. I hope that the search for a new coach goes well and that the new coach comes in ready to work. I know the team will.
The Game is on Friday. Wouldn't the scenario you said give Cheatham the nod because we would both be 3-4 in the region with Cheatham owning the tie breaker?
BC, just wondering. What would haveto happen for Spring Hill to get in the playoffs?
Oh, by the way. Barring anything unseen, David Lipscomb won't have any problems with Marshall County.
I believe the coaches have the choice for homecoming. I thinks raiders 27 is right. It probably has more to do with timing rather than strength of opponent. Besides, I like what no respect says it should be a close one. Good Luck for both teams!
I'm glad to see Mt. Pleasant chiming in. Boy, you would know about tough games with zion the last week. Play a tougher schedule and than let me know about how big spring hill will get blown out.
