Why would you even ask that question?? Rutledge is strong in every area, and they have Jonathan Dalton. He is a homerun machine and probably the best catcher in the region. Their infield is solid and so is the outfield. As long as they play like they are capable of Pigeon Forge has no chance whatsoever. PF has gotten thumped by everybody, or so I have heard. The Pioneers have this one in the bag!!

Look what happens when you don't have hometown officials, and what happens when a college coach is there watching Peterson. One she isn't as dirty and two she couldn't get by with it without hometown help. Rutledge beat Seymour 51-50. That's a big change from the last game wouldn't you say???? What do you think about Rutledge now??? Just wondering??? Peterson was basically shut down, and they definitely got into alot of foul trouble. It was a whole different game tonight. I agree with the statement of "not putting all of your eggs in one basket", but this is a high school kid we're talking about. A "kid" who needs to enjoy playing every sport he can. Focusing on a sport is good, but take it from me. Quiting one to focus on another is not always a good thing. I once knew an athlete who did the same thing. He missed out on a winning season and spending time with his friends during his senior season. He told me "if i had it all to do over, i would have played". Focusing on the future is vital. But we live in the NOW! Enjoy being a kid. Enjoy high school!! Agitator JR

I am going to have to agree with Agitator53 on this one. RHS02 does your name have any meaning to you at all. This is exactly what I would expect from an RHS fan too. I have seen Rutledge play and just because Hudson and Reischling are gone doesnt mean Rutledge wont be in the running for the district title this year. Mcbee and Horsley will give any team a run for their money. I know that PF has some very talented players, but in order to beat RHS they will have to keep pace with the power duo of Mcbee and Horsley. With their speed, this task may prove hard to achieve. Tyler Garrett will be a force to reckon with as well. Lukas Merrell also stepped up big towards the end of last season. Who knows? It's going to be interesting, and this season will be exciting to say the least. I believe in staying true to your team RHS02. These are my predictions 1. Rutledge 2. PF 3. Claiborne 4. Cumberland 5.
