Do you know anything about baseball? You're not stating facts, you're stating opinions....Polk has plenty of depth at pitching as well as hitting...And Beard almost never pitches relief even if Phillips was still pitching...The Davis kid has always been their best reliever and will continue to be their reliever...He had many big saves against teams like Boyd and Tyner last year and we expect the same this year....as for the game, it's not over....you're talkin like sweetwater beat polk...they didn't... and i can't wait to hear about the final this coming wednesday...But as for you, you say you're a polk fan but all you do is criticize coaches and players....That is not what this board is for so if you want to do that, you can go somewhere else...all you're doing is trying to stir up trouble....Go Polk...lets get it done

Just like i've said before, look at when this user(TheOldScout) joined...it was today...so you know he's just gettin on here to stir up trouble....as for the game, Beard got high in the pitch count and this is too early in the year to let him go all the way..so the coach did what any good coach would do...put in his best reliever, who has won many big games for them...he struck the first two batters he faced out to end the sixth...then in the 7th he got them two outs with a runner on first....then polk made an error that would have won them the game....but then Sweetwater just got hot....and i wouldn't put the blame on anybody....but this game isn't over and i expect Polk to come out on top and stay undefeated! Go Polk

Tracy Beard and Tyler Davis ( both have signed to play at Roane State) and Brandon Bean and Mike Hammons....seems to be a pretty good if not the best pitching staff in the district.

Phillips is out for the season with a hip injury. Polk's seniors will be the heart and sole of the team. All 4 have already commited to play at colleges. Should be a great year for Polk.

How will the District 5AA turn out this year. Last year it was: Mcminn Central #1, Brainerd #2, Polk #3, and Tyner #4. What are your predictions for this year?

Region 3-3 weak? Well why did our 4th seed team give yalls region champs a heck of a game 6-0. Polk actually should have won the game, but when you play in nashville you already know what you're gonna get. I really don't consider that weak. You don't play nor know anything about football, just get back on your couch and eat your cheetos!

Well my friends Polk, which was a 4 seed, and Pearl Cohn, a 1 seed, was a great game. Polk should have won, got some bad calls on some long interception returns. So that shows you there's not much difference in the two regions, it's just who comes to play that night.

Hilarious, too bad ya can't spell COACH right... I'm going with Polk by 3.
