Good luck Cherokees make the district proud. They were the hardest hitting team the Owls faced this year by far.

Hour and a half until kick off. The weather is perfect. Look for a good game tonight with no injuries on either side. Good luck to both teams but hoping for an Owl victory. Go Owls

Remember playoff games start at 7:00 local time so factor that in on your travels. Looking forward to the game on Friday night should be a good one between two teams that at least on paper appear to be evenly matched.

Why does the Times Free Press hate the Owls so much. Yesterday there was a front page article about East Hamilton. OK I get it they are the new kids on the block. But in the article about local playoff teams in the sports section they did not even mention Ooltewah. Yes they included them in the box with local teams making playoffs but that was it. On Saturday there was nothing about the game Friday night other than the box score. I have noticed this for the past couple of years. The only time they talk about the Owls is when they lose.

I don't know anything about Shelbyville. Any insight about what to look for would be greatly appreciated. Go Owls. Practice hard this week.

Going to be sloppy out there tonight everyone needs to be careful so that we have no injuries heading into playoffs. I wish I was smart enough to figure out what needs to happen to get a home game. The one thing I do know is we must win to have a chance.

Yes and then he retired and Coach Williams came in. I am not disputing that Benny was a great coach and did great things for the Owls. I was there for his whole tenure. All I am saying is this is only Coach Williams second year as head coach and that takes time to learn all the duties of a Head Coach. I have seen improvement by both the team and the coaches this year and that is a positive sign. Hate that it is raining today and tonights forcast not looking good. Pending the outcome of Friday nights game, the Owls have beaten all the teams they were supposed to beat and lost two close ones to teams with equal to or slightly better talent and lost one blowout to a team with superior talent. We need to remember that this is only Coach Williams second year and he is learning how to win. I have seen plenty of improvement over last years team and there is still room to grow. Still some discipline issues with too many stupid penalty's that happen at the wrong time, but overall things are looking better. D has been lights out better than last year and the O has been up and down. Get a little more consistant play on both sides and especially cover team on the special teams and we should have a program that is playoff caliber every year and every once in a while make a run towards a championship. Go Owls looking forward to Senior night tomorrow.

I think the off week came at a great time. Heal up some bumps and brusies and have a game they should win to knock the rust off. Hope we do get at least a round 1 home game but all the brackets I have seen lately have us going on the road. Go Owls

Going to be a great night for HS Football. The weather is going to be perfect and the Owls are home after a 5 week road stretch. Coach please mix it up a little the next time you schedule. These long stretches of home or away are tough on everyone. The band will be rocking with the full show complete. Yes the trampolines will be in full use. They have a competition tomorrow, so going to be a late night loading the truck. Still hope I am pumped up after an exciting and hopefully an Owls win. I think the Owls were lucky to play the Blue Raiders early in the season before they figured out they did not have the right personal for a pure passing attack. If they can establish any kind of consistent run game the Cherokees are open to the big play. The Cherokees will hit you and hit you hard. They have a good run game and can hit the big play also. Should be a good game, I think the Kees will come out on top of a hard fought game.

This is one of those games that make HS football great. Two good teams with their strengths and weaknesses heading into a late season match up. The winner has a good chance to win the region. Weather is supposed to be perfect and the Owls will be glad to be home after 6 straight road games. Go Owls

Looks like it is going to be a great night for HS football. I think the Owls D and special teams will be the difference for an Owls win. Sure wish they would build the bridge it seems like it takes longer to get to Soddy than McMinn. Go Owls
