Thanks TMT!! SSSSSS that may be the best post you have ever typed into a thread. I still think this is a different ssssss from the last couple of years.

Your Warriors have deffinately improved over the last couple of years. I am proud of this group of Mt.Pleasant seniors. Most have stuck with the program since freshman year and many before that. As 8th graders they only won 2 games one against Cox and one against Collinwood so going 7-4 and making the playoffs is a huge improvement. If they had played well they may have had the opportunity to go further, but they didn't. They helped end the season for many teams over the last 4 years and watched as other seniors held their head in their hands in heartbreak just as they did Friday night. They should be proud of their overall accomplishments as a team and look back with pride. Good Luck Tigers in the future with everything you do.

Well boys were like the monkey with it's tail cut off... It ain't long now. I say if the Tigers of MP play like they are capable the Tigers win this one by about 2 scores. Lets say 28 - 13. Good luck and have a safe drive down to all you McEwennites. Unless it is raining we will be cooking up something just outside the gate at the south endzone. You are welcome to come by and chat it up if you're a mind to. wholder might even let you have a hot dog or hamburger.

It's up to WC to win for Region 6. You guys are the only ones that have a chance against Region 5.

Congratulations Collinwood. Way to show up for Region 6. I wish you guys would have had MC's spot in the playoffs.

Region 5 has always been in the Tennessean's pocket. Especially this year with MTCS having a half page article almost every week but before them it had been Jo Byrns. They must get their info from Murphy and everyone knows how Murphy loves Jo Byrns and Region 5 1A. I would be suprised to see WC with any kind of a spread over the #4 team in Region 5. They will be the only team in Region 6 to be projected to win, if THEY even are.

I think there were a couple there but I did have one on. 11 you would be right but she didn't go.

Yeah I'm sure that is why they sent Tim and Faith to MP. So the principal would release him to be on the scolastic bowl team. Ugh no!!! They asked for him to be released toooooooooo you guessed it PLAY FOOTBALL!!! Wow! Imagine that. I think they are scared of McCallie this time around and need some insurance. Hey the kid is getting the same education whether he is playing football or not right? So why send the big guns down to MP? You're the ones that were selfish. You want something out of the deal. A football player. If he refused to play football next year you guys will quickly forget about his all important education and give him the boot. We got plenty of students that need a good education living around here. You are not offering because they aren't 6'5" 320#. My son is 5'11" 190 can he come up and get a free education?

I thought I would surely get 3 paragraphs out of you. MC catches most everyone over here right after Wayne Co and Collinwood so that helps them to some degree but this year they caught CA without Rector or they would at least be sitting in the 4 spot if not 5. Like I say JB will have no problem with them, especially at their place.

Don't be sandbagging. No one over hear is taking McEwen lightly. I saw a good team play Friday night. If MP doesn't play one of their better games then it will be a long night.

Come on 11. Ya'll said all last year that region 5 was better because you had a 7-3 team sitting at home. Now region 6 has a 7-3 team sitting at home so shouldn't that make region 6 the better region? I have to say MC is probably one of the weakest teams in the state that made the playoffs. They don't stand a chance against JB.

Weuns over here are over-rated. We ain't got no offense, no defense and we just hope to be able to slow the Tummins mowing machine enough so's we have grass left on the field when he gets through. I'd hate it to be muddy all winter long. Maybe they will pat us on the head as they get back on the bus and tell us good game. After all Eagleville beat the devil out of Moore County and MC beat Wayne County and WC beat the heck out of us so we surley don't stand a chance.

Come on wholder you can't agree with every post that has us winning. Give us your score. After seeing the game Friday night I'm scared to death. That's a big fast and mean McEwen team. Obviously better than the previous years we have played. They throw it around some and have a nice halfback pass to go with Tummins running the ball. The other back, can't remember his number, is pretty good also. I noticed they gave it to him near the end of the game when they were near the goal line. Tough luck that they didn't catch the shuffle pass or JB might be riding to MP this week.

I don't know what the paper said but Jo Byrns funbled at least 4 times also. It was a game of hot potato a lot of the night. I don't want it you take it. On 4 consecutive plays one team fumbled to the other team. Then there were at least 4 more in the contest along with 2 or 3 interceptions. Other than that the teams seemed to be fairly well matched. They are both strong teams and will be a handful in the playoffs. I don't know if anyone in region 6 can play with these 2 teams. I will say I was sorley dissapointed in the fan support from JB on Friday night. I expected an overflow crowd from them. I guess that Halloween may have kept several around Cedar Hill.
