On any given night even the best team can be beat. Its not all about what happened before or when. What's important is what happens on this night, at this game. Regardless of the outcome, we'll still be dancing when everything is said and done. To have a team with NO Seniors. 3 Juniors and 11 Sophmores and Freshmen and to make it to the Championship game is an awesome accomplishment. Unlike other teams at the "boro", we're still growing and the best is yet to come. We will be taking home a ball tonight, regardless of the outcome, either gold or silver. We believe in our team, and we know that we're the underdogs. We didn't make it this far on luck - it took a lot of hard work, sacrifice and determination. Our girls are living a dream that the top teams in TN that were picked to win it all, can only dream about, about 99% of them are at home, still wondering about what could have been. The Marshall County Tigerettes can win it all -if they play their style of basketball, they have the talent and the ability and we applaud them for their hard work and TIGER PRIDE WILL BE THERE CHEERING THEM ON!!!!!! Congratulations to the Marshall County Tigerettes on their win against MCNairy County at McNairy County! A truly awesome game from start to finish. MCHS came out a little nervous but after about the first quarter, they took over the game. Once again, their defense shut down the inside game very effectively. With the combination of great defense, great 3 point shooting and the abilility to make FT down the stretch, Marshall County is on the way the way to Murfreesboro. They are truly an inspiration as wonderful young ladies and very talented basketball players. We are all so very proud of you and we'll be with you all the way! I really think that this will be a close game. Stone Memorial has a good team but Marshall County has one of the best defenses in the district and region if not the state. Does Stone Memorial have anyone who can match up to all the talent that Marshall County has. Each of the starting 5 and the bench have their own talent and these talents combine make for a lethal combination. Marshall County is playing some of the best basketball of the year right now. They are playing excellent team ball . Don't forget that only the best of the best get to punch their ticket the "Boro" and don't count them out, because they went to McNairy County and beat the home team, by 14 points in front of very packed, very loud hometown crowd. I won't lay odds on the winner, but I will say that MCHS will give Stone Memorial all they want and more if MCHS plays their own style of basketball. They are a team of very talented, determined young ladies who went into the substate, knocking at the door to get into state.
