  1. 1999 was the last time TP beat Sweetwater. I don't know anything about Sweetwater.
  2. To the WB family. You all have a great man and family in Coach G. He will be a tremendous assest to your community. Enjoy every minute of it. To the players, soak up all the knowledge that comes from him. You all are one bunch of lucky people.
  3. THIS IS THE BEST THING I HAVE COME ACROSS ON THIS MESSAGE BOARD. THANKS FOR REMEMBERING THAT THERE ARE OTHER THINGS THAT NEED TO BE STRESSED IN LIFE. AND ONE OF THE BIGGEST ONES IS PRAYER. SEQUOYAH CHIEFS COACHES (PAST & PRESENT) LITTLE LEAGUE TEAMS THAT FEED INTO THIS PROGRAM FANS (THAT THEY WILL SUPPORT THE SCHOOL & PROGRAM & PUT ALL DIFFERENCES ASIDE)
  4. Good job Bears. I am so glad to see a win for you all. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  5. You have apparently not experienced or have forgotten the coaching from before. This is a lot better than before. A lot more agressive. The team is actually doing things and learning things. Yes, these kids have to run poles if they mess up. Who cares. Maybe they wil remember next time. Poles are a lot better than getting screamed at to the point where the fans can hear. That only belittles a person and does not teach them anything. THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER. Don't forget, we can't build a winning team in one year. Be patient. We will get there. And it takes all of them to make a TEAM. Maybe we should not be so focused on I or ME or MINE but TEAM. I trust the coach to make the right decision on who needs to be out there. I don't think there is any "Parent" playing. I think that is not even a factor. The Chiefs are going to be exciting to watch. We'll take our lumps as they come but we will be OK. BE SUPPORTIVE. BE POSITIVE. THIS IS BETTER. SUPPORT YOUR TEAM. GO CHIEFS! "The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short, but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark." 6. The kids that played in that game were 7th and 8th graders at the time. They are now our Senior and Junior players at SQHS. I believe it is time to do it again. It was a wonderful experience for the kids, parents and the coaches. Go Chiefs
  7. Thank you for the positive comment. As a devoted Chief fan, I hope we will all learn some valuable lessons from this situation. Maybe next time we will check the coach out more thouroughly. As for the football players at SQHS, past, present and future, use these experiences to motivate you in a positive direction. As for the administration, lets get our act together for the sake of the kids. GO CHIEFS!
