No way that Powell runs all over Red Bank. I live in Knoxville and Powell is terrible and always has been average at best. Red Bank will crush them again this year. Before you give me the "Powell is not terrible!!" garbage......please......Powell has not even beaten a team with a winning record. They are just the best of the bad teams in their region. That's all they are....the best of the worst. Get ready to get rolled........again........

Well, then you would be dead wrong. I couldn't care less about who wins this game, but to say Carter is the second best team in Knoxville is just ridiculous. I mean, it's Carter....LOL

Of course you hear that workouts are going well and the kids are in full support of the coaches. Did you expect to hear anything else? Player & Coach interviews are worthless as well as reports from "homer" fans. I have never heard a player respond to a leading question such as. "Are you guys working hard this week & having good practices?" be answered in any other way than something along the lines of, "Oh yeah, we're all giving 110% everyday to get better and get ready for the season.". Have you? No player is ever going to say, "No, not really. We're all pretty lazy and we absolutely hate the schemes the coaches are making us run. We're going to lose every game doing this junk." That is why they are all worthless. Every interview usually runs along the same tired method.

Who cares about the dunk contests anyway? They are incredibly boring. If you've seen one, you've seen them all. It's always the same type dunks over and over again. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Oakland will crush Powell. I live in Knoxville & Knoxville high school basketball (as a whole) stinks on ice. It is vastly behind the rest of the state. Outside of Austin-East, when was the last time a Knoxville based, boys basketball team won the state in A, AA, or AAA? Answer..........1977 If Knoxville-area basketball were as good as the rest of the state, they would have at least "lucked-up" and won it even once since 1977.

OK, but some of your posts on this thread are between 2:00 3:40 ish (like on page four on this thread). You should be at practice during those times if you are a player. I live in Knoxville & know that West practices after school. Do you guys get "laptop breaks" instead of "water breaks"? It's not adding up, amigo.

So shouldn't you be at practice at the time of some of your posts?

Question: is Maryville more worried about Red Bank or playing top tier 5-A teams in the state?
