Well i gues ole possumtowner will try and git de ole body up and going for de big game t-morrow. Well af'tr dem metro fish'els wouldn't throw dem yeller rags in der britches on dat play, the Alsup kid limped off. But den I seen dem giv him som of dem steel legs to help dat boy walk.....Talk round PossumTown is he's out for bout 2 -4 weeks....its dat dad blame knee again. But boy we got us selfs a young back up named Ma'SON. They say he only played dis here game startin last yer. I think this ole boy can throw the rock.......And this new kid named Music may have to help fil in da spots on rnning the ball.

I hear they got better as they went but yessir injuries have been a problem. Most of em er back I think with 2 or 3 that probably wont get to play for a couple of games. They scrimmaged 3 teams then played a jamborree of some kind last week down at FRA. From what I heard the best scrimmage they had was against a team from KY. Warren Central is who I think it was. Looked pretty good against a big program. Scrimmaged White House Heritage and didnt do too good but against Sycamore and the KY team they did ok.

Since us fellers from Possumtown aint played a game yet, who knows how this un will turn out but we will show up.

I wuz told dem Commanders looked purdy good last nite over in Possumtown against a big ole team from KY. Any of you fellers go and see any of it?

Shoot I do believe a bunch of em. 2 er 3 linemen are banged up but nothin too serious. A tite end, a DE and a linebacker I think but all should be better real soon. Nothin too serious is whut i been a told. As fer the scrimmage it wuz a pritty good un. I couldnt stay too long but I do think FCS scored em 2 touchdowns and Sycamore scored em 1. Now when the 2nd and 3rd strings played then FCS scored several times and I dont think them fellers from Sycamore scored again from whut I wuz told. But again its jest a scrimmage. Sycamore got em a good bunch of fellers. They will be alright this year fer sure

I snuck by the scrimmage over at FCS on friday fer jest a few minutes and them Commanders looked much better this week than last week. Went up against Sycamore which is a good 3A team. With a whole bunch of starters fer FCS jest a watchin on the sidelines, they did alright

Ole Possumtowner is around a little bit but thare aint much to yak about jest yet. I think folks are makin too much about this here practice scrimmage against them fellers up yonder in White House. Now dont git me wrong. Them fellers from White House got em some good uns I tell you but remember folks, these here scrimmages aint much jest yet. Shoot, in this un when thare was a turnover they jest let the team which made that turnover jest keep going. Both teams as I recall made several. I think the starters for both teams got em about 30 snaps in each way. That thare QB from WHH is a good un. FCS took thare first snap and ran er in all the way. WHH could sling that rock all over the place. Pritty sure them fellers gonna throw a bunch this year. FCS has 3 or 4 starters banged up already that didnt play. Dont think its none to serious so they should all be back to hittin by the time we really need em going.
