if they play pretty clean they will be hard to handle. we beat them once both teams had a lot of penalties we have improved and i’m sure they have too. hope we have the chance to play one of these teams. good luck to both teams
Smith Co., yeah I watched that game online, good game all except the refs stole the show, hopefully if they play again the refs will keep the flags in their pockets...

I am gonna say ER 35-17, as long as they have indeed cleaned up their play and dont act like they won the Super Bowl on every routine tackle...lol
Not a knock on MC, I just believe ER is that good when they have their crap together...

Just watched the Southwind/Springfield game and from what I saw they’re ok, but not great. That 62-0 score makes it look like they’re special. Comparing them to who Beech has played, I don’t believe they’re close to Collierville, Riverdale, or Henry County. Several athletes, but looked like a lot of backyard play design and missed tackles. Throw in a bunch of turnovers and the fact Springfield has no offense and it turned into disaster.
I wasnt very impressed by watching them on film before last night either, but yeah...

This will be a vintage Crabtree game. Smashmouth, run the play clock down, slow the game down. Bucs 28 Southwind 21
I hope you are right, I dont think it is that simple though...lol

Wow. Southwind officially has my attention.
Yeah like Commish said, the TOs did not help, BUT make no mistake, they were clearly the better team, their QB is the real deal and is only a soph., plus although undersized their line on both sides of the ball dominated, we got zero push on either side the entire game, really interested to see what Beech can do against them...
-
Woodson must be injured...
-
28-0, SW aint no joke, BUT 3 TOs is making it worse than it should be...
-
3rd drive in a row with a fumble...
-
Okay SW with a fumble return to put them up 21-0, 2nd TO in a row that led to points, they are pretty good, they dont need any help...

Thanks. I’ve watched their games with Marshall County and PC and they didn’t fair well but there is a lot of teams that wouldn’t fair well against those two teams. Gonna try and watch a couple more WH games this week. Good luck to your Jackets!
Appreciate it, good luck to you guys as well!

I know you really keep up with high school football 38, what your opinion of WH? Strengths, weaknesses etc?
We have not played them the last few years since moving up, but being honest anytime they step up in competition they appear to struggle. This is not a knock on them at all, just an observation. Truth is, since WH-Heritage came about, a lot of players were drawn to that school depending on how the lines were made that split the schools up.
Outside of that I cannot give you any specific strengths/weaknesses because I have not seen them play this year, my initual thought is, you guys should probably handle them fairly easily, but it is the playoffs and anything can happen...

I wish I knew you were there man. Would have enjoyed meeting you. I didn’t want to say a lot on here about it but yes it was cheap. I realize they got robbed on a bad call but that’s part of the game too. They ejected 3 from Lexington and a bunch come off the bench. Just watched it back a few minutes ago and did not see one HC player throw a punch or anything. I understand emotions can be high in big rivalry games but to hit the long snapper with his head basically between his legs could really be tragic. It was a hard shot to the back of his head. Then one grabbed our kicker and slung him to the ground. I have a lot of respect for Lexington coach and think he’s a great one and he I’m sure was not happy with it at all.
I was listening to their radio broadcast there on the last drive and they threw a fit over what they said was an INT that could have ended the game, is that what you are referring to?

Despite having a losing record at 4-6, this team has gotten better every week, I have seen teams pack it in under these same circumstances, these young men have continued to play hard everytime they step on the field. Having lost 17 starters from last season I believe these coaches have done an outstanding job with this team.
Southwind has had a great season, I believe they will see the 4-6 record and overlook these Jackets, will that be enough for SPT to get the dub?; I believe they will find a way!

ER by a lot, 49-07

Simpson for PC is a beast, I saw where Campbellsville offered him, he is a bigger time player than that imo, surely he has more offers...

31-13 final
Good job! Too bad HC does not stand a chance against Page or Centennial in the semis...lol
See what someone said here...lol

Don’t count centennial out of 5A just yet. Everybody wants to write them off cause of 2 game losing streak to two great teams. The rematch between page/centennial in the 3rd round will be who goes to state for west 5A. HC/Southwind have no chance against page or centennial
LOL okay

If you think that’s bad you should go to East Robertson. The lights are awful bathrooms are terrible. And you’re complaining about about bleachers. Try to have a stadium that’s the oldest in Robertson County. And the county do nothing to help.
He said nothing about ER not deserving anything, just that the biggest school in the county has had money intended for them taken away...

Springfield needs to find a way to get to 4-A. Can’t compete with the Bucs and HC every year. Then throw in Clarksville, Centennial, Gallatin, and Hendersonville on the schedule and that’s not a recipe for success. Need to schedule NW, NE and West Creek for easy wins.
Coach Wilson will never do that, they lost 17 starters off of last years team, it was expected for them to have a down year, having said that, due to some circumstances I do believe they may end up in 4A whenever there is another recount anyway...
-
Gallatin holds on to win 17-7, congrats to the Wave for holding on through many self inflicted wounds and coming back and winning it in the 4th!
-
Talk about getting destroyed by 1 play all night...
-
Gallatin up 10-7, 9 minutes left in the game, funny how they throw so many flags and miss a blatant hold...
RD 2: MARSHALL COUNTY traveling to HARDIN COUNTY

This should be one of the better games in 4A this week imo...
