  1. Yea. That has to be the worst All-State selections. How does Alcoa, the team that dominated 2-A only have 2 players? And Goodpasture only have 1. The top 2 teams have 3 players combined while Smith Co. and Lewis Co, whom were both drilled by GP and Alcoa have 4 players combined?
  2. What key players return for Goodpasture?
  3. Does Goodpasture return any key players?
  4. I was at the game. It seemed as if the game was closer than the score. Goodpasture's coach seemed as if he had some aweful play calling. What surprised me the most was Alcoa's defense holding Goodpasture to 3 points. Goodpasture's defense played as good as they good but seemed as if they realized the offense wasn't doing anything and just gave up towards he end. Goodpasture also did a heck of a job with Shiverdecker other than that 42 yrd run. I think he had like 11 carries for 33 yrd in the 1st half. The speed from Alcoa didn't seem to be all that people have been saying. If anyone's speed surprised me it was #9 for Goodpasture who ran down Lanxter on that long pass and had a couple touchdown saving tackles. Other than that Aloca was the better team and the best addition to Alcoa's team is not their offense or their speed but their defense.
  5. Well as far is improving Goodpasture gets the upperhand. I did a little research on both teams. Goodpasture went from averaging 30 points and giving up 20 to averaging 44 and giving up 11. Alcoa went from averaging 54 points and giving up 13 to averaging 47 points and giving up 10 this year. I honestly don't know who wins to close to call.
  6. Bring it to Middle TN Friendship, Goodpasture, Lipscomb, Hillsboro and Smyrna!!!
  7. LOL. No comment. That's kind of funny and riduculous at the same time. Hey, Lipscomb no sense of arguing with East fans and players because every thread by them is just trash talk no serious predicitons. Just show them Friday. Friendship, Goodpasture, Lipscomb, Hillsboro, and Smyrna will take care of business and brign it all the gold balls to Middle Tennessee.
  8. My teams out of the play-offs so I guess I'll come on this thread. By the looks of this I'll be very surprised if it is a blowout. I saw both teams play a couple weeks ago. I saw Goodpasture play JPII on CSS and Alcoa play Fulton on CSS. Goodpasture basically had one task that was to outscore Tate and they stacked up 500 yards nicely and Alcoa had a battle with a very good Fulton team. Both teams showed a lot of skill. I have a little "keys to the game" like Madden does every week. Goodpasture: In order for Goodpasture to win, they have to control the clock and just pound it like they done all season. I don't see any team in the state just shutting down the run game. No turnovers. Goodpasture also has to make plays on defense. Yes, Alcoa will make plays but they will have to overcome them and last but least Goodpasture needs turnovers. If all goes well Goodpasture 35-21 Alcoa: In order for Alcoa to win: Very simple, if the speed they say is real, then Alcoa has to get the ball to their athletes in the open field. (I am aware that Rankin knows this he only coached at Riverdale with tons of athletes every year). Their defense has to slow down the run game and win turnover battle. All goes will Alcoa 48-21 Good luck to both teams.
  9. After week 13 who are the top 10 teams in the state?
  10. #24 is fast but im not sure he's the fastest "by far" because Goodpasture has some fast backs. And your pushing it with the Buggs and Haynes statement.
